Hostal justito para el precio que tiene.

Cuando hice la reserva ponía que se podía entrar a partir de las 11h ,lo cual yo quería entrar sobre las 11:30 o 12 e incluso a las 12:30 porque nos queríamos ir a la playa lo cual la habitación no estuvo lista hasta las 14 h o más porque volvimos ya tarde antes de las 20h porque se cerraba la recepción. Gel, jabón para una ducha porque vas 2 días y no te arreglan la habitación no te cambian toallas.

Anyone seen Cowboys v Aliens?

The hostal is clearly set up for the massive influx of people who come for the annual religious festival. Outside of that time very quiet and rather spooky. Endless empty corridors leading to spartan and dated but functional rooms. There is no service as such. Collect the key from a booth a cross the road. On site reception is not necessarily connected to the person who has rented you your room. It's very cheap so the value stacks up. Don't expect anywhere to be much better in El Rocio. The town itself is bizarre. For us that was in a good way. We walked the sandy, horse trodden streets in wonder. Watched a magnificent range of exotic birds on the lake (bring binoculars if you like that sort of thing). We took a private jeep trip into the national park early in the morning. All in all a strange but wonderful experience.

This was a big hotel but clearly quite old. Also our visit was during off-season as there were almost no other guests. The two receptionists were friendly but not beyond their duty. Neither spoke english either but that wasn't really an issue as my spanish is good enough. Overall everything was ok, clean and basic.

Leuk hotelletje. 15 km van strand in bekende Rocio

Voor de prijs een leuk hotel met een nette kamer voorzien van koelkast, tv en nette badkamer. Omgeving maakte wel een beetje een verlaten indruk maar kan ook aan de tijd hebben gelegen. Normaal is het hier in de maanden mei en augustus zeer druk.

No es un hotel. Es un edificio en el que alquilan habitaciones. La recepción está fuera y no funciona fuera de horas de oficina. Esta bien situado. Muy cerca de la ermita y en los alrededores hay alguna cafetería donde se puede desayunar.
