The property is very remote, and as such is incredibly tranquil. The views are stunning, as is the property itself which is very well maintained and has a nice homely feel. It felt more like staying at a friend's villa than just some hotel.

Un lugar maravilloso y una gente estupenda. Solo hay dos problemas, uno que no hablan casi nada de español, lo que puede ser un problema para algunas personas, y el otro y más importante es que los horarios y costumbres son completamente ingleses, o si lo prefieres europeos. Esto implica que si quieres cenar más allá de las 20:30 en el hotel no podrás. Es decir, si tu ritmo es español solo podrás entrar y salir cuando quieras, de lo demás olvídate.

Despite the weather which no one can control, we enjoyed the stay at Cortijo Puerto el Peral. Allan and Hetta which owns the place, as well as the staff, takes care of you as you were Royal. The service and comfort was very high and we therfore give the Hotel our warmest and best recommandations.If you like a nice and peacefull stay in great nature - then book a stay at Cortijo Puerto el Peral.

Alles ist wunderbar !

Das Hotel ist ca. eine Stunde vom Flughafen entfernt und liegt auf 650 Meter, umgeben einer traumhafter Landschaft. Die Anlage ist sehr grosszügig gebaut, man fühlt sich, so frei ! Die Gastgeber Alain und Hetty sind sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkomend. In den Tagen haben wir das Nachtessen dort eingenommen, einfach fantastisch ! Auch die Gartenanlage ist sehr gepflegt und wurde mit viel Liebe gestaltet Wir reisen sehr viel und haben einen so tollen Ort selten erlebt. Alles ist wunderbar !

Heerlijk ontspannen

Na de drukte van de steden van Andalusië, heerlijk tot rust komen in een prachtige omgeving in een heerlijk kleinschalig hotel, met zeer vriendelijke eigenaren (nl/eng) en personeel. Fantastisch eten (Table d'Hotes)

très beau mais attention à la situation

Hôtel très très isolé (30' min de toute civilisation) . Mais quelle découverte, la battisse est juste somptueuse, très typée Hacienda; piscine très agréable et personnel (propriétaire des lieux) très gentil. La chambre est très agréable et confortable avec une salle de bain bien équipée (baignoire et douche==sympa le choix), vue de la chambre très agréable. Nous n'y avons pris le repas du soir qu'une fois, et ce pour deux raisons: le prix très très surestimé (30€ pour 1plat + 1dessert) cuisine absolument pas PRO ni raffinée (pavé de saumon trop cuit avec légumes pas de saisons---dommage) pourtant le matériel a disposition est juste hallucinant. Nous à fais pensé plus à une maison d'hôtes de charme qu'à un hôtel, d’ailleurs aucune pancarte extérieure bleue ne fais mention de la présence d'un hôtel étoilé, une question nous tarabuste encore: qui donc à décidé des étoiles de cet établissement.

Wunderschönes Hotel

Wunderschönes Hotel mit traumhafter Aussicht auf El Torcal! Große sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre dank der großartigen Gastgeber! Das Hotel liegt recht abgelegen. Das haben wir aber ganz bewusst so gewählt. Wir werden uns noch lange an unseren Aufenthalt zurückerinnern :)

As good as it gets

This was our first visit to the Cortijo and we would have no hesitation in recommending it or returning again ourselves. It is exactly what it says 'on the tin', a peaceful, relaxing luxurious hotel set in the midst of the amazing scenery of the Torcal area in the hills behind Malaga. While only 45 minutes from Malaga airport (use Alan the owner's routes) it is a million miles from the sites and sounds of the coastal strip. Hetty's delightful and flavoursome dinners add a perfect ending to any day's sightseeing or even a lazy day by their beautiful swimming pool. All in all a perfect, peaceful, getaway for anyone wanting sometime away from the hurly-burly of modern life.
