"Wonderful old hotel with modern spa, pool, and sauna facilities. Our Superior Room was a good size with a view over the courtyard and down the Main Street of Karlovy Vary. Staff were very helpful - English was well understood, as was Czech, Russian and Polish - and the buffet breakfast was plentiful with ample choice. Valet parking was easy. But mainly, the hotel is stately and the lobbies, corridors, restaurants and bars are bars are beautifully decorated and well maintained. "

"The hotel is beautiful and the staff were very nice !we enjoyed the spa and the room, but We had one problem in the room The AC wasn’t working and they sent us somebody to fix it but he couldn’t. When we ask for another room the lady said it was full and her solution to the AC problem was to open the window. We were very disappointed and couldn’t sleep because of the noise outside. "We had a great 2 day stay. Staff were wonderful. Spa was very relaxing. We loved the pool and sauna area. Breakfast was great, but dinner our first night wasn’t great. We ran into another guest who had stayed long term who said that was the worst night of food she’d experienced so maybe it was just an off night. The 2nd night we ate off property and had an incredible experience. Lots of great restaurants in the area. Would definitely recommend. "

Rooms are clean and ok - due to the building a bit old if someone is walking around the floor above you , it is heard.
