"The staff at the restaurants were excellent! They were extremely helpful, happy and accommodating. The pools were great especially the hot pools. The ambiance and the grounds were beautiful. I would have given it a 5 star, but our room was supposed to have 2 queen beds and instead it had a king. I complained and their solution was to bring in a twin bed. "

The bad side was that there was no AC in the room and rooms and super small. If you open the balcony door at night, you will hear the street noises and the beds were uncomfortable. "Wonderful property! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I liked walking the trails and the swimming pool is very warm. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend. It's also just a very short walk into town where we ended up having all of our meals and there is a nice supermarket there as well. Everything was very convenient. We were a little disappointed that there was no mini fridge in the room. "

"This place is pretty special. It is a small, low key resort. My son wanted to stay close to the pool, so we stayed in a standard room. The room wasn't great. The beds were hard, it could use a refresh, the air conditioner was loud, and there was no soundproofing. If we had picked one of the bungalows or treehouses, I likely would have given the place 5 stars. It is a nice alternative away from the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna but still close to lots of attractions. "
