Abella Suites Embonas

"Getting the ground floor suite with the hot tub was the best decision!! We got great use out of it, especially since one of our days was completely rainy. Those huge mirrors are also a nice touch! Breakfast was delicious and it was nice to be able to choose your own dishes. Staff was very friendly, especially Nectaria, who put us in touch with her husband for a private wine tasting. And... the welcome liquor was the absolute best!!! I SO wish it came in 100ml bottles, as it was the best thing we drank the whole trip and I'd have bought several bottles to give as little gifts. Alas, can't bring 200ml in a carry-on."

"Rhian & Andrew stayed 31 nights Sept/Oct 2026The Citrus House is a semi detached property. Internally as you enter the front door up some steps Citrus House welcomes you to an open plan design of kitchen, dining & living space. The kitchen is equipped with utensils cutlery, crockery & glasses. The no grill electric oven has one shelf for limiited baking & on request, cleaners Liza & Steve provided us with baking trays. The fridge was a generous size, however 2 of the storage draws were broken. The dining area seats six people comfortably. The living area has limited seating for comfortable lounging for 4-6 people. There is an arm chair and foot rest & a sofa which is well worn. Indoor comfort was a struggle at times. The space appeared under utilised. There is no storage for books, board games etc.. There is a toilet and wash hand basin on this floor. Down stairs there are Two good size doubles with clothes storage. There is also a third bedroom which is open plan this area has no clothes storage. The balcony at the front is quite spacious but only has a Two person bistro set & does not accomodate 4-6 guests. The balcony at the back has comfortable seating only for 4 people.In the garden there are only 2 loungers so again not accomodating 4-6 people. There is no on site fitness centre or room at the Citrus House. Neither is there a book library or bath tub. Car hire is essential. Liza & Steve keep the house very clean & are helpful with suggestions about the island."

"The reality was exactly as the description.We had our own beach and pool ! Sun shades and sun beds for us all.Excellent open plan downstairs, very spacious outside with lots of dining seating in the sun Bedrooms all had shutters, fabulous views of sunsets and great bathrooms.Excellent comms with the host.We had a car which allowed us to travel the island, the location is not for those who would want to be in the middle of things but is only 20 mins to airport and 10 minutes to a bar/supermarket.We wanted a place for a chill extended family celebtation and this was perfect.Thank you"

"Good location walking distance 5-10 mins to restaurants and great wine tasting. Clean room, basic breakfast but good, only thing I would have liked was kettle/tea/coffee making facilities, it should be noted that it was clear on the facilities notes that there was only a fridge in the room. Good hotel nice staff."

"Lovely 4 star accommodation. Pool and beach available. Food was plentiful, well stocked and varied. Very much Mediterranean which I liked. Needed more seating needed for all inclusive and bars and bar staff to serve when busy. We paid for an upgraded room and it was newly refurbished on the 1st floor. Bathroom modern and views overlooking the garden and sea view. Beautiful 😍"
