"The room was rather basic and dated (aged and worn furnishings, and a central AC system that was slow and weak, though it did keep the room cool enough at night). And there were few other amenities (the restaurant was closed, perhaps because it was a Sunday). However, the bed was comfortable enough. The room was pretty quiet, despite its central location. The location itself is brilliant, within easy walking distance of the central area and facilities. And there is a free car park round the back. For the price I paid, it was very good - hence 4 starts. "

"It's a lovely traditional hotel in a very convenient location. The receptionist is uber-helpful and friendly. Our room was a bit on the small side, but had everything we needed for a one night stopover, but there were no dining facilities. However, the free breakfast sponges made up for that and we used Uber Eats."

"I think there were maybe 6 rooms total. It was a very cool set of rooms in a castle. Wouldn’t be appropriate for people with physical disabilities or the very old because bedroom was upstairs and bathroom downstairs. We loved the unique style."
