Great family vacation
Property is well situated near the beach and town. Best part of the house was the swimming pool which was very private, clean and heated. Would stay there again.

Beautiful Algarve escape
As a three-generation family group of 8, Villa Matira was ideal for us. It provided lots of space for everyone, some privacy for those who wanted it and it was fully equipped with just about everything. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get. PROS for us: location close to beach, old town, marina and its restaurants, supermarket and local bus (no car needed); the beautiful, quiet residential neighborhood; the large, well-maintained, fairly private pool; the tropical pool deck and the rooftop patio with a great view; the communal kitchen with walkout to the pool. CONS: seagull droppings on the deck and patio; temperamental hot and cold water taps and showers, the imperfect cleaning of floors and other areas. Despite the cons, every one of us hated to leave Villa Matira and would not hesitate to recommend it to others - and to rush back ourselves for another stay! Overall, it's a beautiful place for an Algarve escape!

Looking for a family get together, lovely villa nice area.
Lovely villa, showers are a little tempramental either very hot or freezing cold. Pool lovely but no pump to cerculate water, and as we had a baby and my husband a plant operator for pools for over 40 years, was very against us using it. I must say the company did do all it could to help us. We had a lovely break away apart from a sickness bug witch one by one we all got,

Beautiful, large place in a great location
Beautiful, large place in a great location. It's a 10min walk to beach (stairs/elevator nearby) or 15min walk to downtown. Nine people had plenty of room. We loved the pool and views. Check-in and check-out were easy with a lockbox. Host was responsive and we went on one of the boat tours they offered/arranged to the Benegil cave.

What more could you ask for. Comfy beds, everything you need in the kitchen, loads of towels for the bathrooms, hair dryers. Everything spotless! We hope to return in the summer! Thank you :)

Maison telle que décrite : espace, localisation, tranquillité mais proximité, vue, piscine, équipements, ... Seul aménagement qui pourrait être revu : une meilleure mise à l'ombre du coin à manger sur la terrasse (pas suffisamment couvert pour une tablée de 7 personnes malgré les parasols présents)

Perfect stay
Customer service was top notch. Location fantastic! Within walking distance of the beach, the harbor and the 'old' center. Supermarket at 50 meters. Pool was heated to the right temperature. House was very clean. Everything you need was there. We had a great time!
