Beautiful villa
We arrived at the villa and were met by Joao who was very helpful. The villa itself is stunning and spacious and the surroundings are beautiful. There were a lot of dogs barking and cockerels doing their earl morning chorus but that was a part of being in the countryside. Preferable to road noise! Everything was positive apart from the annoying wasps. Be sure to take spray. The other really important thing is to ensure that you have a car. The villa is in the middle of nowhere which is lovely but it’s isolated and there are no local shops or restaurants that you can walk to. All in all a lovely holiday.

Charming Family Villa
A Fabulous Villa with lots of space, Beautifully decorated with Moroccan influence. The Villa is well equipped with lots of large spaces for relaxing & eating. The pool and pool area is large and well appointed with sun loungers & chairs, the pool is a great size and enjoys the sun all day. Joao is a superb host, answers messages promptly and gives great advice for beaches, restaurants etc. You will need a car as it is off the beaten track but the local town of Sao bras de portal is only 5 minutes and really lovely with lots of little bars, cafes and supermarkets. The airport and lovely towns of Tavira, Loule, Olahau are all approx 30 mins drive. The beaches are gorgeous lovely sandy beaches, beach bars & restaurants. our favorites were Praia do Ancão & Praia do Barril Perfect Villa for a large family who are looking for peace & quiet.

Wonderful stay
A fabulous property in a very quiet area. The views are wonderful, and is a good location for tranquillity. A car is essential and it is located less than 10 minute drive to supermarkets. Beaches and Faro are around a 25-30 minute drive. The pool area is amazing and our family had a wonderful stay. There are numerous areas to relax, both inside and outside the property. The owner (Joao) gave a a good amount of useful information for us, regarding restaurants, beaches, shopping etc. A perfect holiday villa.

Beautiful villa, fabulous stay
This is a lovely villa and was perfect for our family party of 7. It is as described, with lots of space and plenty of areas to sit and relax. Pool is good size and sunbeds very comfortable. Having four bathrooms suited us well. You need a car but town in accessible in 5 to 10 mins, excellent beaches in 20- 30 mins. Communication with owner easy: lots of recommendations for restaurants and areas to visit and very responsive. Thank you for a lovely stay -would definitely return.

Great choice
My stay couldn't have been better. The house was great and the pool was fantastic! The kitchen had everything we needed. John the host, is a very nice and responsible person, always looking at the guest's needs. We really recommend this house.

Absolute gem!
We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful well equipped villa. Joao was there to greet us on arrival to show us how everything worked. The villa is ideal if you have children, no stairs, a gate to the pool and kids pool. The views were amazing and the villa is well maintained. Joao also booked our pre flight covid tests for us at a clinic 10 minutes away by car. We had an amazing time and would definitely return. Thank you Joao for looking after us so well!

Great stay at Joao’s villa. Checkin great and nothing was too much trouble. Pool was fantastic and quietly barbecuing with family away from the crazy Covid world was a welcome break.

We enjoyed our vacation very much and this is also due to our host, Joao. He was excellent. He was there for us from the very beginning, before even booking the house. Wonderful home in the countryside
Villa Marrakexe is a beautiful property. It is very well equipped and easily accommodated our group of up to 8 people. João was a super responsive host and a a pleasure to interact with.

Wow !!!!
This villa is truly amazing. The location of the property is rural and you do need a car but ten minutes you can be in the local towns surrounding this beautiful place. The views were spectacular and most nights we would watch the sunset. I can’t say enough good things about the villa. It is very equipped with everything you need and Joao was always on hand to give advice of where to visit and local supermarkets etc ... Absolutely 5* Villa and will definitely visit again.

A week of bliss !
Stunning, stunning, stunning villa with beautiful views and unbelievable attention to detail design themed on Marrakech in Morocco. Definately need a car hire here but wonderful area to explore when you can tear yourself away from this relaxing & peaceful setting. Our party of 6 adults had loads of room, lots of tips from the owner Joao and felt at home immediately. Highly recommend this special place and hope to be back soon.

Best place ever!
We have had the best time in this villa. We loved the house, it has a lot of rooms and they are all very pretty decorated. The pool is great, we were there in september and the water was still nice and not cold at all. The view is very beautifull. It’s quiet and the atmosphere is just great. It’s close to other towns and the beaches are at around 25 minutes drive. Everytime i asked Joao some advice on beaches/restaurants etc he answered me with more than one option so he became our personal guide by text, it was very very kind of him. We will definitely come back! Best place we’ve ever rented.

Prachtig ingerichte villa in Marokkaanse style
Deze villa stond al even op ons verlanglijstje en we waren zeker verrast door de prachtige inrichting in Marokkaanse style. De ontvangst van Joao was vriendelijk en we konden meteen zien dat hij ook architect was. Verder prachtige vergezichten over de vallei en leuke lounge hoekjes. Er werd 2 x per week schoongemaakt en het zwembad werd 1 x per week onderhouden. Verder is het een mooie omgeving, binnen een klein half uurtje zit je aan de kust, met leuke eilandjes om te bezoeken en lekkere restaurantjes.

Perfekte Villa zum abschalten

Beautiful house with great view
The house was spacious and architecturally interesting. Great outdoor space and surroundings. The only negatives would be the comfort of the beds and lack of basic necessities such as salt and pepper, dish and laundry detergent, etc… Overall we had a fantastic stay and would gladly return.

As we only offer long-stay self-catering accommodation we do not provide any food condiments or kitchen disposables as these are to the guest’s taste. However we always provide toilet paper, dishwasher capsules, hand soap and dish detergent for the first couple of days! I’m very pleased that your stay was peaceful and that you will soon return

Charmante und individuelle Villa
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es war ausreichend Platz für 7 Erwachsene und 1 Kleinkind. Ein Auto wird benötigt. Supermärkte sind in 10 und traumhafte Strände in 25 Min zu erreichen. Joao ist ein sehr umsorgender und freundlicher Gastgeber.

Wunderschöne Villa, 10.09.-23.09.22
Die Villa ist wie im Inserat beschrieben gewesen. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war tadellos, auch die Reinigung, 2x die Woche war sehr gut, allerdings haben die zur Verfügung gestellten Handtüchern etwas gerochen und wir haben diese nochmals gewaschen. Wahrscheinlich waren die Handtücher nicht richtig ausgetrocknet. Die Villa liegt sehr abgelegen. Ein Auto ist da ein Muss. Am Morgen, sowie in der Nacht, wurde man durch das Bellen der Nachbarshunde, etwas gestört, aber man gewöhnte sich daran. Was wir etwas schade fanden, ist das es von Haus aus keine zur Verfügungstellung von Waschmaschinen- und Geschrissspültabs, sowie Toilettenpapier gab. Für Gäste, welche mit dem Flugzeug anreisen etwas ungünstig. Daher haben wir unsere gekauften Sachen, zur Freude, der Nachmieter, im Haus gelassen 😊. Unser Fazit: Tolle Villa, sehr guter Kontakt zum Vermieter. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Beste Grüsse aus der Schweiz

Marokkanische Villa mit Pool auf dem Land
Die marokkanische Villa mit Pool ist ein Traum. Tolle Größe mit schönen Aussenbereichen, alles ist liebevoll eingerichtet und man hat einen wunderschönen Ausblick in die Natur. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Zum Meer sind es 20-30 Minuten, je nachdem welchen Strand man besuchen möchte. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Joao der Eigentümer ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und kümmert sich direkt um alle Anliegen. Fatima die Putzfrau kam 2 x die Woche und hat Handtücher und Bettwäsche getauscht. Von uns eine klare Weiterempfehlung.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Joaos Villa und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Wer eine Auszeit vom Alltag und absolute Ruhe sucht, ist hier richtig. Die Villa ist herrlich gelegen mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Der Pool wurde von uns täglich genutzt, die Kinder waren begeistert. Großzügige Villa in ruhiger Lage
Wir haben 2 wundervolle Wochen in der Villa Marrakexe mit der Familie und Freunden verbracht. Joao und Fatima haben uns freundlich empfangen und auch Tipps für Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben. Das Haus ist wunderbar und wir haben die Oktobersonne auf der Terrasse am Pool und den verschiedenen "Kuschelecken" rund ums Haus genießen dürfen. Es ist alles da was man für einen schönen Aufenthalt benötigt. Wir haben schon zahlreiche Ferienhäuser an der Algarve gemietet - aber die Villa Marrakexe ist sicherlich unter den besten! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Une maison incroyable ! Belle décoration réalisée avec goût sur le thème du Maroc. La maison est très spacieuse, la vue magnifique, les équipements sont là et Joao est très disponible. Une semaine de Vacances que l'on conseille si vous êtes en mode farniente. Seul bemol, c'est assez loin de "tout' mais cela apporte aussi son charme et sa tranquillité. Nous recommandons vivement !

You really feel that you are in Marrakech
The house is very clean and well equipped, nothing is missing. The area of the pool is enough to spend all days long, and the lounge outside is just what you need in the afternoon. Living room has plenty of space and big dinning table in doors and another outside. After talking with the owner, it is easy to understand why the house is so good taste every where

Schöner Aufenthalt in geschmackvoll eingerichtetem Landhaus im maurischen Stil
Die Beschreibung des Anwesens im Inserat ist absolut zutreffend. Das Objekt ist traumhaft gelegen und garantiert vollständige Privatsphäre. Verschiedene Terrassenbereiche im Garten ermöglichen rundum wahlweise ruhige Schattenzonen oder pralle Sonne. Die liebevoll eingerichtete Villa ist mit allem für einen Ferienaufenthalt Nötigem ausgestattet. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war perfekt. Joao gab uns hervorragende Hinweise nicht nur für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Wenn wirklich was auszusetzen wäre, dann ein leichter Renovierungsstau in den geschmackvollen Bädern. Fliesen im Duschbereich des Masterbades wären da die bessere Wahl gewesen. Das aber nur am Rande, nachdem ein Aufenthalt im Badezimmer sicher nicht zu den Kerninteressen einer Algarvereise gehört. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

De vraies vacances
Si vous souhaitez vous ressourcer dans une villa spacieuse et confortable, alors c'est un choix idéal. Joao, le propriétaire, est accueillant, disponible et efficace: je suis tombé en panne de voiture et Joao m'a trouvé un garagiste très compétent. Les terrasses, au nombre de quatre, offrent de multiples possibilités au gré de l'exposition du soleil. La piscine est confortable et le personnel de maison, très discret. Bref, nous la recommandons vivement !

Met 3 personen zijn wij een week in deze fantastische villa/verbouwde quinta geweest, mei 2018. Van het allereerste mailcontact tot het allerlaatste, inclusief de kennismaking waren we blij verrast over de gastvrijheid en hartelijkheid van Joao. Het huis is heel ruim, prachtige hoogte, de bedden waren fantastisch, en het uitzicht over de heuvels geweldig. Dichtbij Estoi (plaatsje binnenland Algarve) en dichtbij Faro (prachtige stad) maakt ook dat het huis een goede uitvalsbasis is om zowel het binnenland als de kust te bezoeken. Wij waren erg gecharmeerd van de jachthaven van Villamoura, het dorpje Sao Bras de Alportel (enkele kilometers van het huis) en van de stad Faro. Onze eerste keer in de Algarve: we komen terug. Voor wat betreft het huis: we hebben er veel gehuurd in diverse landen, met name Spanje, maar dit was een van de allermooiste. Warme groeten, Meta

Ein wunderschönes Haus in idyllischer Lage, gleichzeitig aber nicht weit zu interesanten Orten.
Auto ist nötig. Der Besitzer und das Personal waren sehr nett und könnten gute Tipps geben. Wie würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren.
