"I'm happy we were only here for one night. There's not many places where you can eat (on a Monday at least) so we ended up eating at the hotel, which was fine, but I found it too expensive for what we got. Our first experience at the hotel, which honestly is not acceptable is that when we arrived to the hotel room we were looking at the room and bathroom where we were staying. I was going to the bathroom when I saw there was PEE on the toilet seat, just gross! So we went down to the reception...

"Great upside down hotel. Only downside is noise from dinjng room above 1st floor rooms as people mive chairs etc but no big deal. Helpful staff and great location with fab views over the reservoir. No outside space though. Recommended."

"Lovely hotel with a fantastic aspect. Staff were exceptional and very friendly, Juan was a gem and could speak English. The room was spacious but not a lot of storage so had to live out a suitcase. Airconditioning decided to stop sending out cold air on the second last day. But weather was a little bit cooler only about 32. Swimming pool was lovely to jump into after travelling around. The restaurant had a nice breakfast not huge but nice and the evening meal was very Spanish some lovely dishes but not a vegetable in sight. Their homemade butter is delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone it was overall a very good stay and thoroughly enjoyed the fact it was all Spanish"

"This hotel is a comfortable oasis in the wonderful village of Gaucin. It has a long history of accommodating guests and under these new owners has been upgraded to include good wifi and a wonderful restaurant on the main level. The room was beautifully decorated and looked out over the mountain range and towards the rest of Gaucin. Breakfast buffet each morning was delicious with freshly baked croissants and a host of other offerings. The staff was very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Highly recommended!"

Add to that a MOST welcoming and pleasantly UPBEAT staff, and one knows that THIS, the stay at the Parador de Arcos will never be forgotten. As evening fell: The dogs were Barking, The doves were Flying, The storks were Nesting, and WE... were Resting."

" My stay at this property was excellent! The location is simply breathtaking, nestled in the beautiful Sierra mountains. We used this charming spot as a stopover on our journey from Ronda to Seville, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The small village setting added a magical touch, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The local food was fantastic, showcasing authentic flavors that were a joy to experience. I would definitely look forward to visiting this place again in the future to explore more of its hidden gems.
