Apartments in Alfred

"The Inn had everything I needed for a quick overnight. It was affordable and the location was great since I needed to be downtown early the next morning. The free breakfast was what you'd expect. Things to note: There is no elevator so you may have some stairs to climb. Also parking is limited. There's a small lot in back that fills up quickly. They do have an overflow lot one block away. My room was small and had a shared bath across the hall. It has the feel of a guest house vs a hotel. All in all I enjoyed staying here and would stay again. "

"The ocean was visible. The hot tub is extremely small. Says maximum capacity 6 - no way. Also, it was very dirty. I’ll spare details. Other than that, a wonderful stay. The restaurant across the street was stellar!"

"Very clean, but the staff really sucks at hospitality. There was a poor kid working the front desk, obviously just starting out at the job, and the guy in the wheelchair was extremely NOTICEABLY passive aggressive to him while he trained him on checking us in. It really put us off. Made sure to tell us not to ask them where the pool is (idk why because I was well aware there wasn't a pool and never even breached the subject of a pool???) but neglected to tell us that there is only staffing until like 8 PM or so with a kiosk you have to go to when your keys stop working randomly on the last night of the visit at almost 1 A.M. There was no staff present to contact, just a phone line with what was an obviously overwhelmed remote service worker who said "well how many keys have you gone through already?!" Uhh??? Just the ones I was given at check in??? That randomly locked me out at 1 A.M? Every person I spoke to sounded like they were annoyed they had to talk to me."

"Someone from housekeeping was on their phone at 830am talking so so loud right outside my room. They also tried getting into my room at 9am, if I hadnt put the bar on the door they would have walked right in while I was trying to sleep. Checkout isnt till noon!!"
