You'll have the entire apartment to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Private Apt with backyard

Feel free to come and go as you like. You will enjoy complete privacy, safety, and peace. Our Guest House is a bit small but you'll have everything you need. This unit has a full bath, heating/AC, kitchenette, extremely comfortable queen bed, wifi, washer/dryer, refrigerator, outside patio with BBQ Grill and side burner, iron/ironing board, blow dryer, toiletries and it comes equipped with everything you'll need to be comfortable. National Airport 6 miles. Bus stop one block away.

The space
This is a No Smoking Unit (Of Any Kind) Local bus route is 301. You will have one secure parking spot on the driveway.

Guest access
When you pull up in the driveway park on the right hand side. There may be a car or truck on the right side, just park in back of it, it’s not going anywhere. Just walk up the ramp and open up the back gate. You'll see the guest house. It will be open upon your arrival. When leaving just hit the lock button and it will lock. Please be careful not to lock the lower handle on your way out. There will be a note for guests on the refrigerator and it will explain everything you need to know.

Comfortable and convenient--enjoyed our stay!

The cottage is tiny, but it had everything we needed--a comfortable bed and a lovely shower. Everything was spic and span; there were ample linens plus extras; the HVAC was easy to operate and kept us comfortable. Loved the addition of a magnifying mirror in the bathroom! Kitchen amenities were just perfect. Would definitely stay there again!

Great location for stay while visiting my father

The location offers safe off street parking in a residential neighborhood. The room itself is in safe fenced in quiet back yard and offers everything you need. It has a kitchen. Nice size bathroom and a large TV. This is much better than a hotel and for less money.

Convenient for quick stay!

Check in was easy and got settled and then went to our event. It was very comfortable and warm. The shower pressure was amazing and hairdryer was great. Would stay there again.

Great location, nice sized mother-in-law accomodations.

Best Vrbo we've ever stayed at. Really good location, we were no more than 20 minutes from anywhere. Lodging - Bed was firm and comfortable, very clean and bright. Only downside was no stovetop, you hhave to cook on a gas grill.

Perfect Getaway

We stayed at this property to attend a local concert. The owners are very friendly and welcomed our dogs. They thought of everything and were helpful with check in and how to navigate the locale. We will be back.

This guest house is perfect I was needing a place for the night and it had everything . The gentleman who owns the property gave me the suggestion to go to old town for dinner and it was awesome . I slept really well the shower was great and had good water pressure If I am in need for a night near there again I would not hesitate to stay again

My Vernon getaway!

We called it “the shed” it really had everything we needed. The host was very kind and responded immediately about us bringing our support dogs. We were only 15 minutes away from Mt Vernon, George Washington’s homestead and this was our main event and attraction! Our dogs were safe and enjoyed the fenced in yard!

Very cozy and convenient location

Very cute place that had everything you would need. Appreciated the large fenced in backyard for our dog. Semi steep walkway to get into backyard but being able to park in the driveway made it nice to unload our belongings. Quiet neighborhood. Jerry was quick to respond with a check in misunderstanding we had. Would highly recommend!

A Pleasant Stay in the DC Area

This place is a small cottage in the back yard of a suburban home. The cottage is very small with a combined bedroom/kitchen and not much room to sit, but there is a large back yard for when the weather is good. The kitchen is limited, but there is an outdoor barbecue which we made use of. Jerry was easy to communicate with, and the price for the DC area was excellent. It would be difficult to stay here without a car.

Definitely a PLUS!!!

We had a concert & dinner in DC and this was location was perfect. Not being familiar w the area I was looking for a safe residential area, clean & comfortable, pet safe friendly and convenient to the metro area. This was a perfect 20min away. Gerry is SUPER and got to meet his 2 friendly furr'babies. Comfy Tiny Home that Suited our Needs and We'll definitely stay here again. Thank You so Much Gerry.

Adorable Cottage & Beautiful Yard

We stayed 2 nights with our 2 fur kids & it was perfect! Jerry is an amazing host, friendly, welcoming, funny & thinking all about our & our pups comfort. His backyard is huge & beautiful! Our pups LOVED it & explored every inch. The cottage/apt. is completely stocked with everything you might need & set up so well! The bed is extremely comfortable! The home is located in a very quiet, safe, lovely area & very accessible to DC & Old Alexandria. We will definitely stay again on our next road trip to this area! Highly recommend Jerry & his wonderful home!

Quick trip

It was nice, my only exception was the walkway up to the backyard where the guesthouse was. I’m handicapped so that’s on me. Otherwise it was a pleasant little cottage. Maybe the front house could be a little more clearly marked, we had to go by twice to find it All in all it was very comfortable and quiet. We didn’t have much interaction with Jerry, but seemed very friendly and helpful. We were only there overnight.

Just what we needed, when we needed it!

Jerry was a very hospitable host, guest house was just as described, and has everything needed (and then some in case you forget something)! Bedding, pillows, and blankets are very soft and comfortable! He has a nice outdoor area to enjoy with a grill, a great fenced in backyard with mature landscape, and our furbaby loved it! Mini split unit kept us very cool and comfortable and was already running when we got there (it was in the high 90s outside)! Kitchen and bathroom are updated, and it's in a very quiet location! Aside from greeting us, we couldn't even tell Jerry was there! Thanks for sharing your guest home with us! We greatly appreciated it! 😁

Jerry was an excellent host! Apartment was cozy, heat and air was quick to warm and cool. Bed was super comfy. Very quiet surroundings. The apartment was very clean except for bathroom which might have been to a recent flooding, not completely terrible- the soft towels and great water pressure made up for this. Recommend.
