"My honest and fair review: We stayed in one of two basement apartments in February. Kitchen is nice, recently renovated. Terrace is huge with water views. Moisture: There’s only one heater in the house and it didn’t adequately heat or eliminate the humidity in the back end of the apartment where the bedrooms are. As a result, there was mold on the ceiling and wall of the bedroom. Even the bedding felt damp. I told the owner about the mold problem on our last day. As we were leaving he arrived...

"overall, less than adequate I am afraid , gloomy, virtually no light for cooking in kitchen (had to leave door open - straight on to noisy street - constant traffic noise, incessant barking of dogs, night and day, we had to buy several essential kitchen items, uncomfortable mattress, nowhere to hang wet clothes after hand=washing (had to dry clothes over bonnet of hire car outside in sun)....no instructions where or how to dispose of rubbish etc etc....alright for an overnight stay or few days...
