Coastal getaway
A little scruffy but you’re in a world class destination and what do you really need beside a hot shower(on demand), a queen bed that’s comfy and a little table and chairs by the barbecue w/a fenced private yard for man’s best friend! We loved it as a jump off to this amazing California Coast.

Garden Cottage
A bit confused between Ocean Cottage and Garden Cottage since Ocean Cottage had the address on the wall. Great memories of long Mendocino weekends when I was a child. A few ants in the bathroom. The refridgerator was so cold it froze my vegetables. I would stay here again.

Cosy Cottage
Overall a little small. Great privacy and lovely garden. Converted garage with garden deck and off-street parking. 10 miles from Mendocino. Clean and cosy.

A Wonderful Getaway!
My husband and I had a beautiful week in this lovely garden cottage! It was so private and quiet that we were able to turn on 'relax mode' almost as soon as we got there.

Mis-leading photos
The first two pictures about the property are VERY misleading. There is NOT an ocean view from the cottage. The garden is unkempt and overgrown with weeds. It's small and cramped. Problems with the shower handle coming off when turning the shower on. The shower floor is not level and does not drain on one side. Chairs were low and hard to get up from. Not recommended for older or handicapped people.

Last minute getaway

Wonderful stay
I enjoyed the location and comfort of this property. My daughter and I traveled alone and we felt safe and at ease. The night sky was amazing and being close to everything was perfect for us. It was a great mother and daughter bonding experience.

This small mother in law unit is exactly as described. Quiet, Quaint, and Quinticential. No frills. What we needed for a quick weekend to the coast.

Not bad.
We were comfortable. Had all the basics for the bathroom and kitchen including soap, shampoo, dishes and cups, silverware, etc. Bathroom outlet didn't work and the front door was difficult to open but otherwise we were comfortable. Being new to this service i was anxious about the checkin process and i had to send an email request for the check in code which did come soon after my email.

Lovely garden retreat.
My husband and I enjoyed the peace and quiet here. The cottage was a perfect place to relax and return to after exploring Mendocino and the rugged coast. Thanks to the hosts for keeping this sweet little place so nice.

Met our needs and was a good location.
Perfect, but it needs another towel rack, a reading light for the very comfortable chairs and directions for the smart TV for seniors who are not that smart...otherwise perfect.

Tuck Yourself Away in this Hideaway
Nestled in a garden setting and mere blocks from the ocean, this cottage is just lovely. It is relatively small, but it has everything one would need for comfort. Big bed, ample kitchen, large bathroom with step-in shower and all the Netflix one can consume. When the weather is suitable, the gardens and adjacent greenery is right in the foreground. Highly recommend
