"The property was nice. The only problem I had was that the guest before us had a cat that slept on the bed. Housekeeping didn’t change the comforter and I got cat hair all over my clothes. "

We enjoyed our morning coffee on the pier. Time spent reflecting. Our kids enjoyed the many games and playing pool and sitting in the swing watching the river ripple. We want to come back for sure. "Wonderful stay. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen, lots of dishes, silverware, pots and pans (one thing I would suggest is a new can opener the one there does not work well). Beds were comfortable. The host was very accommodating (we locked the keys in the house and she responded to us right away). Would stay there again. Went to pocosin nature preserve to photograph the tundra swans. Drove to pea island for more photography. Excellent trip."
