A beautiful tranquil overnight stay. We cruised down the backwaters, moored overnight and then cruised back the following morning. We had the whole boat to ourselves with our own chef.

I’ve been to India a dozen times and this is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Do yourself a favor and book this trip as soon as you can. I’m not kidding. It’s bucket list stuff.

So relaxing

The best thing we did in India the houseboat exceeded expectations. The facilities were amazing, the staff brilliant and the tour fun. The food was the best we had and the whole experience really good value. We only wish we had booked for longer.

We had a family vacation (6 Adults and 2 Children) in Xandari River Escapes. It was a first time experience for all of us and was indeed a great one!. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The boat was clean, food was good, the backwater was amazing. A few points that could have been taken care off - lighting on the boat could be better - there were too many lizards in the night and eating dinner at the common area was difficult, the men on board could be a little more polite and more friendlier, the check out time is 9 am (exact) - this could be extended a little bit more. Overall a good vacation and a great experience! Thanks
