We only slept at the hotel,breakfast the 1st morning.Single duvet cover to be used as sheet.Curtains hanging off the rail.Paint peeling off the wall.Towels were not replaced when taken,had to ask for toilet roll.Only 1 electric point for the tv.No light bulb in the doorway. Alanya was a great place for the beach,the walks.Just the hotel was very dissapointing.Will go again but our stay will be at another hotel. The night staff was very pleasant & very helpful.

You get what you pay

Das Hotel ist preislich gesehen kaum zu toppen. Allerdings muss man hier einige Abstriche machen... Das Bad ist oftmals überschwemmt, da die vermeintliche Dusche (bei der man im Winter lange auf sein warmes Wasser warten darf) nicht abgetrennt vom restlichen "Bad" ist. Die Betten sind nicht gerade komfortabel, allein deshalb, weil die Betten sich in der Mitte trennen während man schläft, da hier kein Bettgestell vorhanden ist. Das positive an dem Hotel ist das Personal des Hauses, das super hilfsbereit ist und gerne ein paar Telefonate für dich führt.

Good price for hotel, excellent location

Staff was excellent, very friendly, respectful and lovely people. Location of the hotel was very good as it was 2 minutes walk from the beach, shops and resturants near by. Good price for the hotel, it would be better in summer as the hotel was cold at night times so for me in December was not the best. Every 2 days room and bathroom was getting cleaned.

Pleasant hotel with no excessive frills

The Moonlight Hotel is not, in my experience, the place you want to go for thrills and spills... it's a basic hotel which serves perfectly as a base for exploring the wonderful area that is Alanya. Situated in Oba, which is about 3km from the main city centre ("Centrum"), the Moonlight is only a short walk away from many beautiful sandy beaches. On Mondays there is a huge market just one block away. A newly built mosque is only a stone's throw and each morning you will get the "Call to Prayer", a definite confirmation that you are actually living the dream in Turkey. The staff are all very friendly, and will help when needed. It may be different in the season but the restaurant/bar facilities weren't really active at all during my stay but you have numerous places to go and eat within a minute or two's walk so that isn't an issue. Would definitely stay at the Moonlight again, and recommend it to my friends. It isn't an "all inclusive" experience, but I think when you're visiting a country like Turkey that isn't a good idea anyway. Why give up the chance to experience genuine Turkish food and drink and be tied to a single hotel? Thank you Moonlight.

welcome to moonlight hotel pay for air condition and if you want to use wifi also,what a good suprise about breakfast flys on melt cheese milk staying outside million kinds foods for breakfast:) probably you cant see same boss if you will visit next weeks later again always boss and workers changing , better stay away from this hotel

good location .waking distance to the beach .

The hotel is very clean and the staff are amazing .you feel really home .the pool is good. The location is good .you do not need car every thing is walking distance .it is located in alanya the best beaches are there .the safety is the best in the world you can stay day and night no worry .we traveled many country .but alanys turkey is the best we will go next year for one month to the same hotel.we will go in may it is hot

Leider nicht zu empfehlen

Unser 2 wöchiger Aufenthalt hat unsere Knochen und Gelenke strapaziert: wir fanden die Betten knochenhart! Das erste Zimmer das wir bekamen war winzig, die Tapete hing teilweise von der Wand und Toilette / Dusche war eine Zumutung. Die Miniaturdusche hatte keinerlei Abschluss zur Toilette, sodass der ganze Raum nach dem Duschen unter Wasser stand. Das Fenster ließ sich nicht öffnen usw. Da haben wir es eine Nacht ausgehalten, dann bekamen wir nach einer Beschwerde ein größeres Zimmer mir separatem Bad. Leider war hier der Rahmen der Dusche total verschimmelt und die Duschhalterung fiel von der Wand. Dieses Hotel ist in einer hervorragenden Lage zur Stadt und zum Stand, und es ist traurig, dass es so heruntergekommen ist. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wie schön könnte es dort sein, wenn das Haus nur in besserem Zustand wäre! So wie es jetzt ist kann man es nicht empfehlen.

Kan ikke anbefale dette hotellet. Det er veldig simpelt og slitt. Eneste positive er beliggenheten. Renhold av rommet var ok. Reiste alene - bestilte rom med dobbeltseng, fikk ett enkelt rom med en smal seng, som minnet mest om ett kott. Frokosten var grusom!
