This is an excellent hotel with exceptional staff particularly in the restaurants. I stayed for nine nights (for work) and ate in the hotel most nights but the terrific buffet had so many options it never got dull. The breakfast is wonderful and the pool was lovely. I will definitely stay here again.

I really like Rotana hotels and in particular this one in Al Ain. It is a nice resort which offers all amenities yet is rationally sized and in close proximity to Al Ain’s main attractions.

The hotel is well positioned in the city, great staff and service and has good breakfast and dinner options. The pool was great for the kids although it got busy over the weekend. Apart from the pool there wasnt much else for the kids to do.

Perfect Hotel For Families

We had a great time at Al Ain Rotana. We got upgraded to a suite, which was a blessing considering we were travelling with kids. The staff was also super friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. I'm terms of facilities, the hotel seems to have been renovated recently, it features a really large pool and a playground so for those travelling with kids it's a great choice.

Outstanding experience at Rotana! The manager, front desk and housekeeping went above and beyond to pay attention to small advance requests and housekeeping was amazing! Great place for kids, took our daughter to the hotel swimming pool and on the playground in the morning, then to the fort across the street in the afternoon. The breakfast is great, all in all a great experience. Highly recommend it.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and can happily say it was a great experience. The breakfast had a-lot of choice with staff going out there way to get you anything you wished. The area had a lovely calm feel to it and was nice and quite too. In the evening we spent each night at trader vic restaurant/ bar, which was amazing! Food was great especially the seafood wok dish. Had a great tiki vibe with a large selection of cocktails and mock tails. The music Spanish vibes which worked really well. They had two girls who sang with great voices and added to the experience which was brilliant. Would highly recommend this place and if I’m ever back in Al Ain it would be the only place I would stay without a doubt.

The stay was amazing, a long with great service, staring from the entrance/ valet Luis helped us, then Jessie did great job at the reception along with great service support from the IT and the reception to solve a small issue I had at my room, then great breakfast with a lot of varieties and Yousef there was very polite and supportive, near the pool the people were very supportive specially the life guard Anaas and the team. The room that I booked is huge and I recommend you to book on first floor -new wing- it perfectly fitted my family including 2 of my kids and has huge balcony facing the pool, In general I would do it again for sure and this my 3rd time at this hotel, I could notice the level of changes and the great service level, thanks again 👍

I booked on Hotels.com a king size bed pool view on the new wing, Where do I start .. I was given a twin room instead with a view of a pool under renovation, the balcony has no visual barrier to the rooms both to my right and left, if you look left or right you see your neighbors hence zero privacy. The bed mattress was quite stiff but the pillows were great, location is very good with plenty of parking. Don’t expect a “Rotana” experience.

Overall good stay but some disapointments

The hotel is well located, near Al Jahili Fort which is walking distance. The renovated rooms are great, modern, spacious and very clean. We were given an upgrade on the pool view, however with both restaurants below it was quite noisy at night. The breakfast offers a very large choice of options and the food was good. We were a bit dissapointed on a couple of points: - we had booked a king size bed and were given a twin room by the reception, they said there were no more availability on the king size bed but we were not informed in advance - we stayed on the national holiday weekend and throughout the weekend the hotel was installing their christmas tree just close to the pool, which lasted the whole 3 days, I belive this could have been done prior to a long weekend as it is quite annoying for the guests - we asked for a non-smoking room but some guests were smoking on their balcony and we could smell the cigarette in our room almost the whole stay - even thought having done a pre-payment for this booking, the hotel charged us by mistake during our stay and we had to go and ask the reception for a reimbursment
