This cabin was the best. The views were amazing, the upstairs was cozy, and there was enough space for my family of three to stretch out and feel comfortable. It's out of the way enough that we felt like we were in our own space, but not too far away from Akureyri. Even though we spent two nights in this cabin almost a year ago, my husband and I still talk about how we wish we could return to Iceland and spend a week in this cabin.

Amazing cabin with a beautiful view! Beds where supper comfy, and was the perfect spot to come back to after a day of exploring the north of iceland.

Very cozy place, well equipped and in a somewhat isolated location (which is good) near Akureyri, great place to explore the region. One thing to note is that the rooms are separated by (black-out) curtains, not doors, but that's fine if you are travelling with family or close friends.

Comfortable but pricey

Very comfortable and spacious cabin. The layout could have been better (like too big a bathroom and small bedroom). Location is bit remote but views from the cabin was good. Would have been great if the hedges around the cabin were cut.

We stayed two nights here. The views are incredible!! The cabin is modern, very clean, equipped with everything you might need and then some (52 inch tv, grill, coffee, even spices and olive oil). We were traveling with a teenager and she loved having her own "floor". High ceilings, modern shower with jet sprayers. Location was secluded yet very convenient for what we wanted, across the river from Akureyri with an awesome view of the city and minutes from the airport and Rte. 1. I would make this our home base if spending any length of time in the northern part of Iceland.
