The Villa was beautiful inside and out; with breath taking views. Communication with the host was great, and upon arrival we had a basket of local treats which was a nice surprise! I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay near Chania. You won’t be disappointed!"

Top Akrotiri Hotel Reviews

Creta Vitalis

8/10 Good

"The villa was nice and spacious .The breakfast was not very good. The fruit looked stale .Nothing was appealing and coffee was always cold .The old man doesn’t speak English .Very hard to communicate"

Aulus Chania Resort, Curio Collection Hilton All-Inclusive

8/10 Good

"The staff were very welcoming and lovely. The room was clean and stocked with treats, the spa was sensational, and the meals were great. We did ask for our room to be cleaned and only the bed was made - they did not remove used drink glasses, wipe surfaces, or replenish the coffee pods for our espresso machine. But the drinks were strong, the pool was gorgeous, and overall very happy with our experience!"

Olea Villas - Luxury villas by the sea

10/10 Excellent

"We visited this villa for a family celebration as 3 couples, it was everything described and more and was large enough to everyone to have their own personal space if needed! The attention to detail was exceptional with everything you needed to make a perfect holiday. It was a short drive (about 1.5k) to marathi for a few restaurants, this could be walked but the roads are not lit and very hilly. Vicky the cleaner was lovely and did an excellent job and we even had a beautiful warm home made sweet pie delivered for breakfast one morning. Would definitely recommend to anyone seeking that touch of luxury for a perfectly relaxing holiday"

Villa Alexander

10/10 Excellent

"An excellent stay. Particularly, all of the staff were so nice to us throughout our time there - they provided us with everything we needed and requested so easily, and made us feel like we belonged despite only just meeting us. The location is excellent as well with a lovely view of the beach, and a nice pool if you don’t want to travel in the day. The rooms are always kept to the highest level of cleanliness I have seen in a long time. I absolutely recommend. It is a bargain for this price"

Villa Elihrisos-Quiet & Spacious Villa | Large Private Heated Pool & Hot Tub

10/10 Excellent

"If you book Villa Elihrisos you will not be disappointed. It had wonderful country views at the back of property with the sea in the distance. It was very peaceful. The property and pool were very well maintained and clean. We were a family of 7 staying at the villa. We enjoyed the location to the nearby beaches especially the lovely Kalathas beach which had lots of beach chairs and a good snack bar. We were able to walk to three tavernas that were in very close proximity to the villa. All had good food quality and were of good value. When I booked the villa back in September 2025, communication was excellent with Katerina which continued through until we left. It was so personal to meet her and her mother Olga on our arrival at the villa. On the day of leaving her mother was there to say her goodbyes with a small gift. Nothing was too much trouble for Katerina. She was most informative and always happy to help. An excellent host.We would say that for us a car was essential particularly in the August heat. There were two good local supermarkets which were walkable but not if you had to carry supplies back to the villa. We did not cook in the villa but there appeared to be a very clean Barbecue and Pizza oven outside near the pool with a large communal table and chairs. We enjoyed sitting outside of a warm evening on the patio furniture. It was a good quality villa."

Michalis Villas

10/10 Excellent

"Michalis was one of the kindest and most welcoming people we met during our trip! We stayed for just one night, but had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The apartment was extremely clean, well equipped (even with a washing machine), and had plenty of beds for our family of five. The style is more traditional than modern, but everything is actually very new and well maintained. Thank you, Michalis, for your wonderful hospitality!"
