Perfect peaceful getaway for couples. A bit away from the main area of Airlie Beach so a car is handy to explore. Staff were so friendly and breakfast is a perfect start to the day!

Beautiful quiet location. Everyone goes out of there way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Heated pool was amazing and a short walk to the restaurant for an amazing meal.

Great Airlie Stay 10/10

Amazing Stay. Staff were 10/10 Only overnight stay, wish we had another couple of days. Great view, food options also great with Northerlies meal options. Great continental breakfast. Look forward to coming back

You cant get a better slice of paradise than Freedom Shores. We love this place for its tranquil surroundings yet so close to Northerlies for a relaxing drink, eat and vibe. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and they make you feel comfortable with children as part of the booking. We love this place, nothing to improve.

A real treat you deserve

We stayed in the Beach Shack for a few nights. We were welcomed by management and made to feel comfortable. The staff were respectful and very friendly. The Northerlies hotel is close by and has great meals. Freedom Shores accom includes a continental breakfast. It is served in the main area where you can plate your food, put on a tray and either eat back in your room or out on the deck with great views. The beach shack has it’s own grassed area, sun lounges, cabana, loads of quiet spots to sit, wander onto the rocks at low tide. There are several curlews and turkeys that frequent the area as well. The beach shack is beautifully and comfortably furnished, the bed is comfortable.

Amazing parking was just a little far. Need to have a car for this place but it was WELL worth it. It was excellent all round. Highly recommend. Staff were amazing, property amazing. Favourite place I stayed on our trip of 10 hotels (some much more expensive)
