The hotel was great, located on a major intersection near the ISKON temple road (and that area has many restaurants and shops), the room was furnished nice and comfortable, the food options (in-room dining, cafe, and restaurant) were nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the stay!

Enjoyed short stay in the hotel. Was clean and staff were helpful. Wasn’t impressed by some of the guests standing and eating around the buffet food when there were tables available. It seemed as they were business guests so the hotel staff allowed them to stand there instead of asking them to take a seat.

Value for money

The DoubleTree Hilton in Ahmedabad might be compact, but it certainly makes a good impression. The room was cozy and offered a comfortable stay, though the breakfast buffet fell short of expectations compared to typical Indian hotel standards—the chai lacked flavor, and local specialties like fafda didn’t quite capture their authentic taste. On the bright side, the coffee shop behind the lobby stands out as a highlight, with courteous and attentive staff making the experience even better. The outdoor seating area is another gem, especially at night, staying open until 2 AM and offering a lovely ambiance. Despite its shortcomings, I would gladly choose to stay at this property again during future visits to Ahmedabad. Special mention to staff from coffee shop ‘Shobhit’ he is a great!

Good location, excellent customer service

Customer service is excellent, breakfast was nice, location is great, hotel claims to be a 5 star but the rooms don’t justify the 5 star tag, A/c vents are dirty and rooms have musty smell, had to change room the same night due to the bad odor from the vents since we had a baby less than a year old, the manager was kind and helped us change the room upstairs since it was available, the rooms however needs to have A/c tune up or replaced
