"The villa was just as described, very well equipped throughout. Excellent kitchen facilities, bedrooms very comfortable, car hire is a must as position was away from the centre and uphill! The pool was excellent and nice and warm throughout.We have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone, Mark was a pleasure to deal with and the Mar menor management company staff were very professional and accommodating in my dealings with them, again all highly recommended."

"We had a really nice time at the villa. It’s very spacious and it was well equipped. We found the mattresses a bit too firm and we would have liked to do a bbq but the grill was old and crusty. The property manager told us they had to replace it and it’s a shame it wasn’t available during our stay. Maxime was great, very responsive and helpful. The villa is in an isolated area so you definitely need a car which we did so it wasn’t a problem. We would be back again in the future"

"Apparently a ‘confirmed booking’ here means a six-hour trip just to be told ‘we don’t take one-nighters’—how thoughtful. Avoid – Unprofessional and Unreliable I booked this hotel last minute and had a confirmed reservation. After travelling six hours to get there, I tried calling multiple times (over five attempts) for directions—no answer. Finally, just 10 minutes away, someone picked up only to tell me they don’t accept one-night stays, despite my confirmed booking. No apology, no effort to help, and zero regard for the inconvenience caused. This is not how a professional company should treat guests."

"This is a lovely hotel I found while searching for places to stay 1 night on the coast from Marbella to Valencia. The staff is very friendly and we both spoke enough English and Spanish to feel comfortable. There is a quaint rooftop garden restaurant with good food and a charming staff. Breakfast was included with pastry and bread, ham and cheese and juices. Very traditional Continental breakfast. The cappuccino was delicious!! The price can’t be beat. I can’t speak as to what there is to do in Portman. It is a small and quiet town. We just stayed the one night as we passed through. But don’t hesitate to book a stay!"
