  • Fully equipped and detached house with fireplace, air-conditioning and many amenities only 2 miles away from the famous and renowned beaches of Plakias and Souda (south Crete)! We made this place with love so as to accommodate each one of you separately. There is no doubt that the breathtaking view to Libyan Sea in combination with the crystal-watered beaches will charm you. You will finally be able to enjoy relaxing and peaceful vacations away from the hectic and noisy life of a city!

    Many sights around the area that you can explore and visit such as Preveli Monastery, Preveli Beach, Plakias Beach, Skinaria Beach,Souda Beach, Kotsifos Gorge, Kourtaliotiko Gorge and Frangokastello fortress.

Alles top, aber....

In Bezug auf Lage, Zustand und Ausstattung des Hauses war alles genauso, wie im Inserat beschrieben und wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben. Es standen auch jede Menge Handtücher, Tischdecken, Bettzeug, Toilettenpapier, Reinigungsmittel bis hin zu einem Erste-Hilfe-Set zur Verfügung...perfekt. (Nur schade, dass kein persönlicher Kontakt mit der Vermieter-Familie zustande kam...lediglich per WhatsApp, auch bei der Anreise). Leider jedoch liegt Plakias/Sellia in einer der windstärksten Zonen von ganz Kreta...bei 30 Grad plus ist Wind ja ganz angenehm, aber andauernde stürmische Böen über mehrere Tage hinweg beeinträchtigen das Badevergnügen vor Ort jedoch deutlich. Vor allem aber: Bei diesem Wind hatte man es im Haus mit einem ständigen Rattern des Lüftungsrades auf dem Schornstein des Kamins, Windgeräuschen im Kamin und sonstigem Klappern vom Dach her (vermutlich von der Photovoltaik-Anlage) zu tun, was einen erholsamen Schlaf doch sehr erschwert hat. Von daher: Alles gut, aber...
