"This is definite faded grandeur. The ground floor looks and feels beautiful but the rest of the hotel is tatty - not helped by a lack of cleaning In some of the common parts. Staff were slightly taciturn, but we went out of season and they might have been busy doing other things. The location though is fantastic and, crucially, there is a good breakfast! This hotel could be so much better with some love. As it is, it is over priced."

"We often stay at the Royal Appollonia and once again we had a fantastic week.
Special thanks go to Mo on the front desk and Elisavet in the restaurant who made us feel welcome every time we saw her.
Everyone always has a smile and wanting you to have a wonderful time, which is exactly what we needed for a break.
Breakfast was amazing every day. Gym and indoor pool was perfect and outdoor pool and beach was lovely.
I would say the room as a bit tired now and could do with a refresh but its our...
