"This hotel is located near the port and you need to drive on a dirt road to get there , the hosts are ok but not professionally trained , hotel is far from different locations to visit the local beaches are very clean and small there are nice local tavernas and coffee shops town area is small . You definitely need a car ! The Island regrettably suffered from major fires in the month of July. "
"I have been to Greece over 100 times; have spent a quarter of my life there; this was one of the most pleasant stays I have ever had. The staff are amazing. Beyond helpful and I’d put them up to any staff at any other resort in the world. It should def be the only place you consider staying on the island."
"We had an incredible stay at Zathea apartments!! Highly recommended! The hosts were very attentive and the room was cozy with a great view. Kythera is a lovely island with lots to do, we definitely wished we could stay longer! "
