Friendly peaceful retreat - stunning views

The villa was over two floors with the bedrooms being downstairs and therefore cooler overall. The reception was manned at all times and were so helpful and friendly. Even offered to give us a list to the local town if we didn't want to drive. A car was needed due to the location but that worked well for us and parking was fine. The facilities were great inside and out - had everything we needed and the welcome package was a nice touch. The pool was pretty private and big enough to do a little swimming too. We loved the area and managed to explore a few local towns and went on an excursion or two and got picked up from the villa. Overall - a great experience and a lovely getaway.

It was wonderful being back at Pleiades Villas in Crete. Julie who ran the whole complex went above and beyond and is an exceptional ambassador for the Domes organisation. Anastasia, Nikki and Georgia were outstanding and always greeted us with cheerful smiles and kept our villa spotless. However the maintenance operative we found not up to the high standards of Domes. There were several issues relating to the villa we had to bring up and unfortunately it took days to fix and in a very surly manner. Sadly in the end we had to report these issues to the Domes of Elounda management team who sorted the issues out but not being able to use the pool for 24 hours and waiting 8 days to get a shower head put on is not acceptable.

This is a very luxurious property featuring two bedrooms, a huge living room, dining room and a big terrace with a private pool. You'll be really spoiled here. It is also very quiet and private. My only complain is that they only provided coffee pods for one day. The problem is that you can't buy this kind of Nespresso pods in the small grocery shops in this area, so this put us in a very awkward situation, having to ask them every day to give us some coffee. And while they didn't refuse us, they didn't forget to mention that they were doing us a favor because they don't have to provide coffee every day. I think this property should revise this policy because it is customary in every single hotel or Airbnb to provide coffee for the duration of your stay. After all, for the amount they charge you for a room the could afford a few pods of coffee!

Our villa was lovely and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are delicious and brought directly to the villa We had a lovely holiday here and would really recommend Pleiades Villas. Our only slight disappointment was that the villas were 3 miles away from where Expedia said they were!! The staff were extremely helpful to assist us in communicating with Expedia however.

Perfekt för familjesemester!

Vår familj om 5 (tre tonårsbarn) tillbringade 1v på Pleiades. Vi trivdes fantastiskt bra! Villan höll hög standard - gott om plats, alla faciliteter, trevlig inredning, stor pool och pooldäck. Servicen är fantastisk - Julie och Monika gör verkligen allt och lite till för att hjälpa till och för att gästerna ska trivas. Vi fick hjälp med restaurangbokningar, bokningar av båttur med mera och de fanns alltid snabbt tillgängliga för att svara på frågor och hjälpa till. Läget är mycket bra - bara några minuters bilresa från Elounda som har bra utbud av restauranger, butiker, privata stränder mm. Möjligheten att nyttja faciliteterna på hotellet Domes of Elounda var ett jätteplus!

Atlas Villa Pleiades

Excellent week especially in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. Perfect combination or privacy with own private pool but also access to hotel service and private beach. Julie was extremely helpful booking all our restaurants and even doing a full shop ready for when we arrived. Lovely clean villa, room service and fresh towels ( both for bathroom and pool) every other day and wonderful clean warm pool ( cleaned everything morning) at our disposal. No fighting for a chair. We would certainly go again.

The staff were really friendly and extremely helpful. The view from the villa was amazing. It was so nice to have our own pool. It was so relaxing there that we actually stayed at the villa for the entire day for two of our eight days there. We also went to the sister property Domes of Elountda which is right on a beach and use of the amenities is included with the stay at the Villas. Agios Nikolaus is a very cute town in a very beautiful setting with many excellent and reasonably priced restaurants. We loved it there and would definitely go back.

Nice, spacious, comfortable villa with a lovely view from the larger than expected pool. Service when called upon was prompt and friendly. Decor felt a little dated and tired though and the noisy road below spoilt the location a little. The kitchen could have been better equipped and we found the hot water ran out very quickly, only enough for one short shower then a wait for it to reheat. A very lovely villa but not quite what I would consider Lux.

Massive, gorgeous apartment, but isolated.

Absolutely fabulous apartment for two or four. It is a shame it is was to far to walk into Agios (1hr 15mins). Says 2km from Agios but that is the outskirts, not the centre. Taxis were very prompt when rung by reception for you. 9 euros to Agios, 14 euros to Elounda.

Perfect peaceful holiday retreat.

We had a two bed villa (Pelione) which came with fantastic views out to sea and the mountains. The villa was spotlessly clean and had everything needed for a self catering stay. The staff were great Angelina and Julie made us very welcome and were extremely helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The villa was serviced daily as was the pool. You really need a car here as there are no shops, restaurants etc. within easy walking distance. We used a taxi a few times into Elounda which cost 14 Euros each way so we decided to hire a car. I would advise hiring the car from the UK before you travel as they are expensive to hire in Crete. Aghios Nikoloas is nearer but not really walkable. All in all though we had a great holiday at Pleiades and would highly recommend it.

Great all round hotel

I would have to say a big thanks to Alex and his team for a great stay. The rooms were large, very clean, with all services required for an appartment that you could live in if required (full kitchen and washing facilities) This also includes free wifi, satelite TV etc. The location is stunning and though a little way out of both Agios Nikolaos and Elounda, they are both easliy accessed within minutes by car or taxi. Actually if you want to wander further the location offers easier access to the main roads without having to go though the town - which I imagine to be busy a peak times. The location is very quiet and little noise can be heard from the other appartments due to the layout. Alex offers some excellent tips on Restaurants and things to visit - we had some excellent meals from these, especially as being the very start of the season most restaurants etc were closed making it harder to find the right one.
