Recommend a car as not near port or main tourist area but for us was part of charm. Definitely recommend and frappe and cold drinks by pool bar must! "

"Reading earlier reviews we were expecting an exceptional property and were not disappointed, the photos do not do it justice. The villa consists of three relatively self contained units which taken as a whole is very suitable for a multi-generational family or group of friends. Located down a dusty lane the villa has been beautifully and traditionally renovated with great attention to detail and facilities, both internally and externally. Presentation and cleanliness is exceptional, with cleaning and fresh linen and towels every few days. The external space is very well set out, offering both privacy and large family space. To make full use of the excellent external dining facilities you need to like pushy, but well behaved cats.The villa is well positioned for the many outstanding beaches which stretch south of the main town of Chora(Naxos Town). Both a supermarket and excellent restaurants are within a few hundred metres. Congratulation to Tilemahos and team for producing an outstanding vacation villa."

"There were 11 of us that stayed at George’s house. My grown kids said it was the best vacation they’ve ever had. The house is not brand new, but it is so cozy! I could have stayed for days and days just staring out the window. In fact, my favorite thing to do was to open the door in the front and the windows in the back and enjoy the breeze. The gorgeous ocean was on one side and olive trees were on the other, with sheep along the side of the house for good measure. The mini-market is close by, and we frequented it over several days. We were able to pick up sodas, water, detergent, and even frozen chicken breasts. We chose not to rent a car, and were able to walk everywhere we needed to go once we taxied from the airport. The beach out the back of the house is windy, but Pyrgaki is a 25 minute walk away. The wind is much tamer there, and there is a delightful hotel with a restaurant and bar. They also rent shaded sun beds. It was a fantastic vacation!! But I have saved the best for last…George, the owner. What a gracious person! From helping us personally with taxis to locating some medicine for my daughter-in-law, George was simply the best! Book his place. You can’t go wrong! "
