"Rooms ok , but noisy next to the road on second floor. Tried to get moved but not possible which were strange since I had 4 other colleagues who got a much higher floor. All this despite that I have stayed minimum 5 times on the hotel"

"Do not book this hotel you could end up at a different hotel. I would love to write a review of The Palmyra Beach Hotel. However when we arrived we were told that our room was in their sister hotel across the road. When we pointed out that we had booked the Palmyra Beach not the lower rated Emmantina only then were we told, not convincingly, there was a problem with the room. We were never told what the problem was. They ordered a taxi and we had to leave. This is not acceptable. We had no real apology and not even offered a free drink in compensation. Utterly poor. Beware."

"I had not stayed at the property for some years since it was the Westin. The upgrades were fantastic. Beautifully appointed rooms. The only complaint I have is my favorite restaurant Matsuhisa was closed both days of my stay for private events.. I ordered room service instead which was really disappointing. The food was really underwhelming. Overcooked."
