Lovely house with great views
Lovely house that was impeccably clean. Peggy and Tom were very helpful and really lovely but totally unobtrusive. A great base for exploring the Beara peninsula and County Cork. Really regret not taking my bike though! Great swimming close by and wonderful views from every window. Even the rain was dramatic.

Hidden gem in west Cork
It was an amazing experience from start to finish. Tom & Peggy were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The house was spacious, clean and had everything you would need and more. The area was so beautiful we didn't want to leave. We couldn't recommend this property enough.

Great house and location
Stayed for a week with family. Lots of space and very well equipped kitchen. Peggy and Tom were always to hand if we needed anything. Well located for exploring West Cork and the Beara Peninsula into Kerry. Swimming spots nearby and the local Bar/restaurant 3 minutes drive. Great staycation spot-Thank you!

Peaceful Modern Beara Family Home
We spent two weeks at this lovely super clean and modern house midway between Glengariff and Castletownbere. The location is stunning - very peaceful with convenient drives to all - with a large Pub/restaurant and rocky beach a short walk away. Hassle free Booking that were well spaced for Covid - everything included and owners family next door are incredibly gracious hosts who answered any questions or concerns. A great spot from which to explore West Cork & Kerry - stunning mountain passes to Kenmare and Killarney with Bantry or beyond an easy drive away.

We had a most enjoyable week in Adrigole. Five star accommodation and super next door neighbours. I would highly recommend this house to anyone wanting a staycation in West Cork.

Ideal for exploring West Cork
A beautiful house with huge amount of space for family or friends. Bar with great food only down the road and amazing views and peaceful surroundings. Very helpful and welcoming owners right next door. Recommended for seeing West Cork and South Kerry!

Perfect holiday home
Fantastic property on the Beara Peninsula that exceeded every expectation. Peggy and Tom were so friendly and welcoming to our extended family of six. The house is immaculate, with loads of amenities for self-catering and laundry. Beautiful views straight out of the sun room, but if you're looking for trails or hill walks there are plenty of options within a short drive. The nearby town of Glengarriff has several good restaurants and a nature preserve. Wild Atlantic Bar (less than 1km down the road) also had very good food and drink. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous scenery
This area of Ireland is breathtaking. We were here for 3 full weeks and the house had everything we needed. It was spotless and very comfortable with spectacular mountain and water views. We received lots of helpful information from the owner of things to see and do in the area which we loved.

Amazing Views on the Beara Penninsula
Our family of 8 had a wonderful week at Michael and Ann’s house on the Beara Peinnsula. The house was very clean, spacious, and well equipped. The glass conservatory was extra special to enjoy the evening sun! The custodians, Tom and Peggy, were extremely friendly and extra helpful. We can’t wait to return.

Adrigole Home Away From Home
We had a wonderful and comfortable stay in Adrigole. The rental had all the amenities to make our stay feel like home. The house has beautiful sitting areas with a loving sun room. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The house is only a 15 minute drive from Glengarriff where you can go out to eat or purchase groceries to cook at home. Tom and Peggy, the property managers of the house are very helpful, thoughtful and are a delightful couple. We would recommend this property for a rural and coastal getaway in Southwest Ireland. Family success story
The perfect place for a family get together. We were 9-(4 children and 5 adults). The house is open concept and very clean so we felt comfortable immediately. One more bed would have been appreciated but the lack there of did not spoil our stay. Everybody loved Peggy, the owners Mother. She was as nice as could be. The dishwasher was broken so we spent hours on clean up after meals which was the reason we gave a 4 star rating. She did apologize profusely which was really appreciated. The setting is absolutely beautiful and everyone we met was friendly.

Hello Sally, We are so sorry the new dishwasher stopped working during your stay, we had it fixed, as it was clogged with food. Also it states on line it sleeps nine in beds, so we don't have extra beds to offer. The conservatory, with heating would have been an alternative, with the couches and extra blankets and pillows LOL. my favorite room. First 4 stars ouch, We deeply apologize for the dishwasher. Perfect with a stunning view
We were a large group with father and 3 siblings and all our spouses. We had plenty of room in this beautiful home. The spot was perfect for this area of Ireland. The home had everything we needed and we lacked for nothing. Loved the sheep in the back yard. Peggy and Tom were very friendly and most helpful. Highly recommend.

What a crib!
We were a party of 9 - 4 adults and 5 children - who stayed for the week. We were SO impressed with the house and all of its facilities. Unfortunately we didn’t have the best weather but it didn’t matter too much as there was plenty of room for us all to hang out in comfort. The kids loved rolling down the garden and had loads of space to play football. The grownups loved the comfy sofas and the big fridge that held all of our booze! Tom and Peggy were super lovely and helped to find a good place for my husband to have his car fixed when there was a problem. I can’t recommend the house enough never mind the stunning surroundings! We all loved it!!

Perfect stay and amazing hosts!
The location of the home is ideal for those who want a real Irish experience away from the more typical tourist spots- but close enough you can still manage the Ring of Kerry quite easily from here if want. Having done both before, Beara Peninsula is my choice. Close to loads of easy day trips for amazing sites. The house itself has literally everything you need, including the kind hosts Tom and Peggy just next door if you need them- which we did. Very clean and new with fully equipped kitchen. They even left us a couple kitchen basics to start us out. Games, good tv and wifi, hair dryer,extra blankets, etc. all there. However it is the setting that makes this home a perfect stay. Loads of windows and outdoor space to take it all in. Each sunset was better than the one before. I highly recommend this home for exploring western Cork and a great coastal get away. We explored practically ever beach and took every boat and ferry on the Peninsula. The town of Castletownbere and village of Glengarriff were two of our favorite places to eat and explore. Ferry to Bere Island and boat to Garnish Island we’re both excellent ways to spend the days. Loved it all. Also loved getting to know our wonderful hosts. Thanks to them and sharing their house with us, perfect trip.

Perfect
We arrived and met the owners. They were lovely. Took us threw the house,and showed us how everything worked. They even bought us a converter plug in. When a storm went thru and knocked out the electric, they showed up within minutes with a flashlight and candles. The house was always warm. Short driving distance to everywhere. This house was perfect as were Tom and Peggy. We will be back.

Beautiful home with great views, excellent place for relaxing vacation.
My family and I stayed at the Curragh Height's in July. I cannot say enough positive things about this house. This is a lovely home in a beautiful setting, the pictures do not do it justice. Very well equipped, scrupulously clean. We were able to take day trips to Ring of Kerry (including Skellig Ring), Ring of Beara, Sheep's Head Peninsula, Mizen Head, and even Dingle Peninsula. Highly, highly recommend for couples or family's. Thank you to Michael, for your prompt and courteous communications to all questions. Each year we have a family vacation rental, and we have been to Ireland many times, but our family all agreed that staying at Curragh Height's made this our best Ireland visit and best vacation. Extra special Thank You to Peggy and Tom, who live next door and meet us when we arrived. Your help, recommendations and noticeably little touches around the house were greatly appreciated, they made this our most memorable vacation ever.
