"Had a great guy’s trip with five old friends from high school in their early 70’s. Everything about the property met our expectations. Beautiful location. Great deck and fire pit. Excellent pontoon. Considerate amenities in the bathrooms etc. We’d definitely rent the property again."

"Exactly as it was presented. Just the quaintest, authentic cabin experience in every detail. Great outdoor space for eating and enjoying time together around the fire. Very nice grill and plenty of firewood! Terrific amenities with the sauna, canoe and pontoon, all very well maintained. The host was very attentive, promptly responding to any questions and making sure our stay was all we hoped. We loved this place and will be back!"

"We were up there with 5 people and we had a great timeWe were rained out 1 day but used the 2 stall garage to play some bean bag toss ( cornhole ) game and just hang outCross Lake MN is a 6 minute drive away and the town has everything you could need from a grocery store to bars restaurants etc.We hope to go back next year"

"This is a high quality property which provided our family of 12 (3 generations) with a very comfortable and enjoyable week on a beautiful lake. We have rented many cabins over the years and this has been one of our best experiences. We do hope to find another week next year to return!"

"This rental exceeded our expectations (and our expectations were high). The space is larger than it looks on-line, with a good sized and very well-stocked kitchen (plenty of dishware, silverwear and cookware for both children and adults and basic kitchen essentials), a nice sized dining room table, a comfortable living room, a screen porch, and a nice game room set up in a remodeled double garage. Lots of nice extra touches---comfy beds and bedding, plenty of towels, a gift basket with homemade maple syrup, a high chair (they knew we were coming with a baby), plenty of games, a garage stocked with bikes and sport things, lots of canoes/rafts/paddleboards, fishing gear, life jackets (but bring your own for babies and toddlers), a great lilypad raft. The lake is clear, beautiful and feels very private. It doesn't have a swimming shoreline (somewhat rocky and weedy), but with the lilypad anchored just off the dock the kids (ages 2-6) had a great time jumping off of it in life jackets (and we could stand there to catch them), and the baby did great floating with one of us in a raft. We rented the pontoon for a day which was worth it, although we caught just as many sunfish from the dock."
