Welcome to Cabin #3 Lomandra at Autra Resort McLaren Vale, a private vineyard retreat set within the DOWIE DOOLE property in the heart of South Australia’s wine country.
Designed exclusively for two, Lomandra is a place to slow the pace. Wake to views across the vines, enjoy coffee on your private deck, then head out to explore McLaren Vale’s renowned cellar doors, restaurants and local produce.

Lomandra is a contemporary architectural cabin designed exclusively for two, with warm natural finishes, clean lines and large windows framing the surrounding vineyards.
At the centre of the cabin is a comfortable king-size bed with quality linen.
The kitchenette is equipped with an induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, kettle and toaster — ideal for an easy breakfast or a relaxed evening in.
The private bathroom includes a deep bathtub and separate shower, while your own private sauna offers the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day.
Outside, your private deck includes seating and dining space overlooking the surrounding vineyard landscape.
A picnic basket, yoga mat, telescope, umbrella and slippers are provided for use during your stay.
During wetter months, seasonal water may appear beyond the cabins before naturally receding during warmer and drier periods.
Travelling with friends? Make it a shared getaway by booking nearby cabins alongside our Function Cabin, available to hire for gathering over food and wine. Share the occasion, then return to your own private spaces — together when you want to be, wonderfully independent when you don’t.


Guests have exclusive access to the entire cabin, including the private sauna, bathroom, kitchenette and private deck.

There is no onsite reception or permanent staff, giving you the privacy and independence of a true vineyard escape.
