"The overall experience was good however check in very lengthy since the receptionist was giving a lot of details including restaurant menu to the people in front of me. I was offered a welcome drink which never got since the one I got shortly after I checked in which it was a gin and tonic I ended up paying for it during check out; when I inquired about it in regards to the welcome drink reception said I still had to pay. Attention management *** please explain to guests what is a welcome drink, I assumed that it was any drink on hotel grounds. Thank you"

"The owner / hosts were beyond wonderful - friendly, helpful, full of wonderful history + local facts - the property is quiet and refreshing - walks around the olive groves and vineyards was magical! The Roman ruins ‘down the street’ are a must visit"

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by staff and treated to a glass of their lovely wine we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. The rooms are modern and beautiful designed and decorated. You experience the sense of calm created by the beautiful landscape and the architecture of the hotel. The staff are excellent and the service is 5-star. The restaurant creates the perfect ambiance for dining and the food is creative and beautifully prepared and presented. Would like to thank Andreia, Marta, Bruma and Sofia for making our stay a memorable one. Would also like to thank the chef and his staff for our wonderful dining experiences. "A wonderful place to stay around all things farm! The manager was most informative about the farm, crops, Beja, places to eat & visit in town. He shared information on special things to do in the Algarve as we headed further south. A gracious sincere host who took time from his busy schedule to share valuable information with us. I would highly recommend a night or 2 at this lovely property. Bonus, the breakfast was a variety of fresh and delicious foods! "
