"My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

"Quiet and Secluded. We had a great time sitting around the fire, great memories, very clean, The kids had a great time. The top bunk mattress was fine for my 8 year old but would have been a bit stiff for me. My older son slept on the futon he loved it. Plenty of towels, The water heater is a small one but we could each get nice hot showers if we waited a bit between. It would reheat quickly for the next shower. "

"Look no further! This is the first inn I have ever stayed at! The host is extremely kind and is willing to give you all the good tips and tricks to the area. My boyfriend and I stayed one night there and did a good amount of exploring in the time we had! We ate at Ben&Me's (fabulous hot dogs and blueberry ice cream) which was recommended by our hostess! In the morning, I woke and watched the sunrise from the window facing the harbor of our room and it was just beautiful. We ate breakfast there before leaving the road for a long drive back to Upstate NY (breakfast was 2 fluffy blueberry pancakes with whip cream and blueberries on top) and they were just fabulous. We will absolutely be back and are so grateful to have had such a lovely experience! "
