Great place to do nothing!

This trip was about relaxing,therefore my mission was accomplished. There are no amenities for entertainment. Well, you say it's an athlete's village. The advertised running trail is a grave, dirt and paved road which is less than mile. This was very disappointing for me. Although, not a runner I had hoped to take a long walk. This was impossible. I used their shuttle service from Addis to the resort. The driver was on time and friendly. The ride was about 45 minutes. Half of the grounds are well-maintained(that's what you see on the website).The other side is still in its natural state. I visited during August. It was very cold. What is cold? There was a heater in my room and I used it all night under my thick duvet.The security staff were wrapped in blankets while patrolling. The food was basic. I ordered pizza, which was mostly cheddar cheese. For breakfast, half the items were not available. By the way, there was no hot water during my stay. There is no internet in this facility if you are planning to work.

Nette Garden Lodge nahe Addis

Der Garten war sehr nett angelegt, wenn auch noch im Aufbau. Die kinderspeilgeräte sind extrem primitive gefertigt und teilweise sehr gefährlich für kleinere Kinder !!! Die Hotelräume waren sehr nett ausgestattet und recht sauber. Schlimm war das Restaurant! Wie ware zwei wochen dort, es war ein extrem einfaches Frühstück, das sich jeden tag wiederholte, obwohl wir volles Frühstück gebucht hatten. Die Servicebereitschaft des Bedieneungs und Küchenpersonals hielt sich sehr in Grenzen !! Beschwerden beim Küchenmanager brachten keine Änderungen. Am ersten Tag wurde mich die zweite Tasse Tee mit 13 Birr in Rechnung gestellt. Nach einer Beschwerde wurde auf diese lächerliche Berechnung zurück genommen. Internet wird extra berechnet, ging aber nicht!

Far from the city and no regular hotel transport.

Hotel needs room service improvement eg drinking water coffee or tea pots and the transport costs to town of USD 25 per trip is excessive for those attending meetings in the city. .Hotel should look into this.
