I booked the hotel cos of the pool, yet, it was not clean, or didn’t look like they paid attention to it. Maybe cos of the road construction but still, it didn’t seem that it was functional.. also, the constant checks was not quite necessary, especially when one stays there for several days. Most of the staff were nice though.

I'd stay again

It is a decent hotel. Don't expect Four Seasons, but expect clean, safe and great service. I had by far my best rest within the city. I stayed in a couple of hotels. Near some nice night life and close to restaurants and other services.

The staff was extraordinary friendly and helpful. We struggled first to get a shuttle, but then had someone help us and go out of their way to make it happen for us. The rooms are tidy and well equipped with everything needed. We preferred this hotel over the Swiss Nexus which we booked a week later for a night.

Recommended!

Bonanza offers an exceptional value for money. A charming bar/pool area, super-clean beds, lots of hot water in the shower, excellent wi-fi cover, and superb breakfast. Recommended! Why then give only 4 stars out of 5? Honestly I was a little bit disappointed with the lunch/dinner kitchen, especially that they did not serve their famous pasta carbonara any longer. And, no safety box in room.

We had a horrible time at the airport trying to exit to come to hotel due to red tape in Ethiopia with visas.We arrived and the shuttle bus had left and was nowhere in site.We paid some guys to call the hotel and eventually got picked up.As a Gold member we were not greeted well by front desk and no upgrade.Rest of the staff in hotel are lovely smiley and helpful so much appreciated.

The room is decent for the price I paid, though it could use some maintenance. The bedside lamps aren't working, the bidet spray is outdated, and the paint on the walls is peeling. In short, the room's finishing needs attention. However, the bed is extremely comfortable, making it perfect for recovery after a long flight. The shower works great, with both hot and cold water functioning properly. All the hotel staff, from the receptionist to the bellboy, are courteous and helpful. Overall, it’s a good value for the money spent.

Good atmosphere, great bar with DJ, friendly staff. However the swimming pool which is at the center of the hotel's advertisement online, is not in usable condition at the moment. It is only being used to embellish the environment, but it is not clean, and not in any usable condition. If like me, you are looking for a place with a nice pool, this may not be a good choice for you.
