Vacation in the Countryside - Apartment "Marschall" in Quiet Location with Horse Farm

The vacation apartment Marschall is located on a farm in a quiet location between Wangen im Allgäu and Lindau on Lake Constance, near the border triangle Germany-Austria-Switzerland. The apartment is 50m² in size and has a living room with a sofa bed for 2 people, a well-equipped kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom and can accommodate 4 people. The equipment also includes a TV, an iron, a baby crib, games and a child's high chair. The outdoor area with spacious garden is shared and has a terrace and barbecue. Children will especially enjoy the small horse farm. In addition, the accommodation also offers the ideal starting point for excursions, as well as cycling and hiking tours through the picturesque surrounding countryside. For example, Achberg Castle is only about 2.5km away and can be reached in 30 minutes on foot. Lindau on Lake Constance as well as Wangen im Allgäu are both a 15-minute drive away. Ravensburger Spieleland is about 23km away. Restaurants can be reached by car in about 3 minutes and the nearest supermarket in 4 minutes.

Eine Woche Auszeit

Wir fahren sechs Tage in Achberg im August 2021. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und schön im Grünen, man erreicht aber Bäckerei bzw. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten mit Fahrrad oder Auto (ca. 3 km). Lindau ist ca. 10 km entfernt. Die Wohnung befindet sich im Keller, es handelt sich um drei umgebaute Kellerräume. Bad - wohn/Esszimmer - Schlafzimmer. Alle Räume haben Fenster, jedoch typisch kleine Kellerfenster, so dass die Wohnung recht dunkel und leider auch feucht ist. Rollläden gibt es keine. In Inserat wurde die Wohnung für vier Personen ausgeschrieben, aus diesem Grund haben wir auch gebucht - wir sind zwei Erwachsene und ein aktives Kleinkind von zwei Jahren. Leider war ich ein wenig enttäuscht von der Wohnung. Die recht großzügig wirkenden Bilder und das gepflegte Äußere des Hauses sowie die Beschreibung des Objektes haben mich ein wenig in die Irre geführt. Für zwei Personen wäre es ok gewesen, aber zu dritt einfach zu klein. Da es auch keinen separaten Eingang gibt, mussten wir immer durch den Flur des Hauses der auch von den Eigentümern genutzt wurde. Man konnte sich zwar draußen in den Garten setzen, der wird gemeinschaftlich genutzt. Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett, es herrscht eine familiäre Atmosphäre - allerdings hatte ich mir von der Wohnung einfach mehr erhofft. Die Klamotten die im Schrank ungenutzt im Schrank hingen, musste ich waschen weil alles klamm war. Die Couch war fleckig und sichtbar „bewohnt“. Da der Preis für Bodensee-Verhältnisse günstig war, kann man im Endeffekt vielleicht nicht meckern. Wir hatten auch sehr viel Glück mit dem Wetter. Wenn es es eine Woche geregnet hätte, und wir drinnen hätten bleiben müssen, dann wären wir wahrscheinlich nach einem Tag wieder heim gefahren.

Ich bin in der Ferienwohnung untergekommen, um in Wangen an einem Seminar teilzunehmen. Die Wohnung liegt friedlich und umgeben von Kuehen, Pferden und weotlaeufigen gruenen Huegeln. Ein wunderschoener Ort.
