"Staff"

"This place has a deceptive announcement of the look and facilities for their hotel. 1: it has limited parking that it is hard to get in and out of. 2: there is no elevators and it is not mentioned anywhere in their website. 3: there is no air conditioning for the rooms. You have to keep your window, and the room door open to get airflow. 4: due to opening said window, now you won’t be able to sleep since there is a night club across the street, and it is LOUD AS HELL!!! You will have a hard time getting any sleep since that place does not close until 4 am. 1/2 of the rooms are to that side of the hotel. BEWARE. 5: they offer the opportunity to get coffee at the bar since they have a very nice expresso machine, well that is also broken, so had to go out to the city to get a cup of coffee!!! The pictures in any site for this place are professional and make it look great, but it is old and antiquated at best. By a wide margine, the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced, and I have traveled across the world."

"We loved our stay at this beautifully designed hotel. The views are amazing, the food and wine are delicious, and best of all, the owners Monica and Rodrigo, and the staff are so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Chiloé is definitely worth a visit, and the Estancia is in a fantastic location with lots to see and do. Even though we were only there for a couple of days, we still managed to visit Castro, hike in the national park, and take a boat trip to see the penguins at Punihuil on our way back to Chile. We really hope we’re lucky enough to come back one day. We need more pisco sour!"
