"I had a delightful stay at Yenas Nest Bed and Breakfast in Accra. The exclusive, secure, serene neighborhood set the stage for a memorable experience. The B&B, owned by an adorable couple, exceeded expectations. Their three daughters, home for Christmas, added warmth.
A heartwarming incident showcased their hospitality. Despite arriving too early, a family from Monrovia was warmly welcomed—the youngest daughter connected with visiting children, displaying genuine warmth.

"Aside from the peaceful setting, which is a welcome break from the city, Aaj and Yao's hospitality stands out. They're excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful. Recommend if you're looking for a simple, welcoming break."

"This has been our go-to spot in Ghana. It’s usually very good.
This year, there were noticeable degradations. The eyehole in the room was missing and stuffed with tissue paper. The hook on the back of the bathroom door was broken off. There were no hand towels. Just one or two regular towels.
Worse, at breakfast there were roaches crawling the wall and when the table linen was lifted, a roach crawled out. The waitress saw this but did not call a manager. As if this is a regular occurrence.
The water was unavailable one night. We called using the room phone and got no answer. I had to call using an outside line to get a response.
We do 40 to 50 room nights a year in Ghana. We may need to find a new hotel."
"Ok so as soon as I arrived after a grueling 18 hour flight, I expected to find a cold water in the fridge. There was nothing, although Water was listed as included under the amenity section. Also wanted to have nice warm shower and they were no shower, gels or soaps also as listed under the amenity list and the water was mostly cool.
I asked the host about the water and soaps and was told I would have to buy or they were not included even though listed on their site
Not a single towel in the kitchen, and paper towels. Had to buy my own toilet paper too. lol.
The host not a very good communicator, actually poor.
The place was generally nice, but there was a small leak at the base in the toilet, which I told him about and he did not get it repaired. The kitchen sink also did not drain well at all.
I found cockroaches in the kitchen on 2 occasions.
Bed was moderately hard so if you like soft or memory foam, forget it.
Quite steep staircase to the 2nd level. Be careful coming down.
Cleaning lady showed up on 2 occasions but was inconvenient. I told her to come back the next but did not return.
On the 13th of 14 days she returned to get the garbage and I asked her to clean the room. Finally, the day before my departure."
"Would recommend Number One for anyone coming into Accra, the staff are extremely helpful and it shows customer service is a priority.
Good central location as well."
"Staff very helpful, check-in was ok but we were allocated a wrong room that was not executive room. I went back to the receiption to let them know and the excuse was that they was a glitch with the system. they immediately moved us to the executive room that we initially paid for via Expedia. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the window had no daylight. The bath towles a bit small. The breakfast was very nice. The shuttle driver was very kind and helpful. The location of the hotel very good."
"People knocking at my door asking for a charger. Not only once but a couple of times. My flight was in the morning and there was nobody there at the reception to check me out. The faucet at the bathroom was choked."
"I liked the room set up.
I didn't like the fact that there was no robe in the closet.
I also found a tiny cockroach in the the bathroom. Hopefully it's just a one off incident. Otherwise infestation must be checked for.
Thanks"
"Great hotel food at the cafe was excellent and breakfast was very good they had everything you like from fresh coconut water to Lebanese bread
Will definitely stay again"
