This property is an historic home that has been converted into 5 bedrooms, large bathroom and a kitchen area with a dorm size refrigerator, microwave and Kureg coffee maker. The property is located right in the center of town. Walk to places to eat, etc. It is right on the Tammany Trace if you want to bike ride or go on a shady walk. I rented a bike from Brooks Bikes.

My stay at the Abita Springs Hotel was lovely. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean; easy access to the room using a keypad. Cute garden and porch with rocking chairs. Very easy to park, and great dining options in walking distance (Abita beer pub and Abita cafe). Also great access to the Tammany trail - 30 min walk to the Abita Brewey! Awesome location away from the chaos.

Such a precious place!!!! Stayed only 1 night for a wedding in the area but the accommodations were very nice comfy and clean!!! Would recommend over and over and over!!!

The Abita Springs Hotel is an excellent choice for this area. Our room was very clean and very well appointed -- everything worked well. The hotel is a one minute walk to the Abita Brew Pub, Rosie's is also quite close, and driving to several good restaurants in Covington takes about 8 minutes. We never met anyone on staff at the hotel but we received texts when we needed info. The price seemed slightly lower than I expected for this level of quality.

The room is very well appointed. My heat didn't work and I would have froze except I had my own heater. The door lock on my room was quite difficult to operate. Otherwise the rooms are very nice.

We loved our stay here! The room was so cutely appointed! And despite being an older place I found it to feel rustic but modern and smelled great! Bed was also very comfortable! The only thing I could say is that complementary water would be a nice extra touch. I always bring extra anyway so it worked out fine! The complimentary coffee pods were good. I did two cause I like a strong cup and I was actually pleasantly surprised with how good they were! I would definitely stay here again!

It’s an historic home nicely redone to give you a comfortable stay. Rooms are private and have everything you need for your stay. It’s also close to nearby larger towns for shopping or activities. We would stay again!

Best ever!
Very amazing place. Convenient self-check. The room is spacious, and cleaner than any hotel I've ever stayed. There were no chemical smells that always greet one when first entering a hotel room. The bed was exceedingly comfortable. The bathroom was exquisite. We enjoyed coffee in the room. Even though there was an event downstairs, the noise did not bother us. The only not-so-good thing was the darkness where we parked our car. Later lights were lit but I'm not sure if they weren't for the party. We plan to book there again when we visit.

Absolutely beautiful. Quiet & quaint but in the back yard of restaurants & shops. The room is huge & beautifully decorated & has tons of windows. The porch is precious. I need to make an excuse to come back & spend more time!

Hotel was great! Abita pub was right across the street in town square so you just walked! Check in was very easy. Room was clean and pleasant.

A very Lovely building, and room. Loved the shower, but you might consider putting some grab bars in the shower as a slip/fall prevention. Being that this was a described as a Hotel, I was a little disappointed in that there was no room service. We stayed for 4 nights and our trash cans were overflowing. If it were a B&B I could understand. It was up to us to make (or not make) the bed. We did get an E-mail telling us what room we had and how to unlock the door. Also gave us a phone number to contact for any needs, but I felt that it would have been nice if we would have been contacted to welcome us and see if there was anything we might need. Never received a name or anything.

A haven in Abita
The Abita Springs Hotel was everything and more than I would have hoped for. It's in a great location but still still and seems secluded. Old feeling but new and fresh in appearance and even smell. Love the details of cloth napkins, real glass and ceramic wine glasses and coffee mugs as well as plates and silverware. As beautiful or even more so the the online pics. A great room and exceptional bathroom with amazing tub and shower. Michelle was also a delight upon out arrival.

Lovely Stay
This was a lovely stay. If you want a laid-back cultural experience in a historical southern home, this is for you. It is not a super fancy hotel with a lot of amenities, but rather a quiet, relaxing stay. I loved being in the center of things; next to the bike trail, across the street from the park, brew pub, an old-fashioned grocery story, and down the street from the eccentric Abita Mystery House. We did, however, wonder why on-line photos suggested there was a downstairs common area, when it was locked and we had no access. Also, the area underneath the porch was littered with junk and could’ve been nicer. All in all, we loved it, but I think the property has much bigger potential. Also, we got a note on our car for parking in the back lot where we were supposed to park.

Hi Lou! Thank you for staying with us and your feedback. The hotel is under new management, which is myself. I believe I met you and some of your family in the courtyard during your stay. I am in the process of having items that were left behind from some recent gardening/cleaning work that was completed placed in an appropriate space. The area downstairs that is locked is our event room, not a common area. Hope to have you stay with us again!

I enjoyed the use of the bikes (included in stay) and park paths right outside of our hotel door. Easy area to walk to restaurants. Beds were comfy. Would have been happy if screens were in windows to let some fresh air in. Overall, very nice. The inside of the rooms were all you needed for a relaxing vacation but outside could use a paint job to add to the quaint courtyard.

The location was great—right in the heart of town! Tucked under live oaks and blossoming flowers, it was so charming and quaint. Loved the modern amenities inside, with access to bikes to ride the trail that ran right in front of the hotel. We will be back!

Wonderful stay
We were visiting family in Covington and this provided a great nearby location. It is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and has access to a great bicycling trail. Abita Cafe is a great breakfast option one block away and the neighboring "museum" is fun! Room #4 was perfect.

This little hidden gem was just perfect for a wedding our daughter was in at Milicevic Farm and Vineyard Venue over the past weekend. It was so convenient to the venue, the Christmas tree lighting and dinner then lunch and breakfast over the entire weekend. Our apt was clean and so cute! We totally recommend this place for a quite and cozy trip to Abita Springs for a nice getaway or for a local event. We will be back! Thank you for everything!

Charming Property, Great Location
This property is quite charming. Room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. You feel like you are at a bed and breakfast rather than a hotel. Great location! Close to great eats and Abita brew house. The Maple Street bakery down the road is fabulous too! Overall, we loved this hotel! The only thing that I would request next time would be extra towels and coffee. This would be no problem for a night or two stay, but we quickly ran through our towels on a four night stay. There is no front desk at this property. We will definitely stay here again! We really enjoyed our stay!

Hi Alex,I'm so sorry we didn't replenish your amenities. During check-in we send our direct phone line, and you can always text us; we are at the hotel daily and have no problem delivering more coffee, towels, etc (whatever you need) right to your door. We don't even need to disturb you-- we leave it in a basket for you. I'm glad you enjoyed the rest of your stay. We'll make sure to clarify to our guests that they can send us a message on any platform: email, phone call, text message (which goes right to my cell phone and another manager's phone as well) even if it's something small! We love hearing from our guests, and we hope to see you again very soon!

A beautiful hidden gem in Abita Springs! My sis and I stayed for one nite after movers came to move my furnishings as I sold my home. We enjoyed a lovely room and walked over to the Abita Brew Pub for an awesome meal and cocktails. I would stay here forever if possible...will definitely be back again. The hotel is within walking distance of all restaurants, small town grocery for a nice bottle of wine, and a bakery for fresh breakfast pastries. It's also within 15-20 minutes to Covington or Mandeville, LA
