"What a gem of a small, cosy hotel! I booked a small double, but we were upgraded to a suite with a sea view, as it was my daughters birthday. Beautifully clean, with white fluffy towels, toiletries, tea, coffee and a fridge! The staff go above and beyond to make your stay more comfortable....very friendly, helpful, kind and very generous. My daughter was provided with a birthday cake, which i asked for their help for shopping for one as a surprise for my daughter.....they didn't even charge me for this ! Biscuits and sausage for our dog, again, not charged! Outstanding customer focused services.....we've never received such great hospitality. Thank you to Jasmine, Morgan and Autumn for making our stay extra special, we really appreciated it xx"

"Room was fine bed comfortable and nice to have teas and coffee in the room. Although there is a restaurant where we had food which was well priced and nice the area was very cold. We didn’t stay for a desert. Not very appealing for a bar area to sit and relax. Parking good and free. "

"Self check in fine, house a warren but found everything, room a good size, fought with the windows to open them eventually succeeding. New carpets were being laid so the lounge area was closed and other areas had bare gripper strips and underlay. The shared facilities were clean and all working though expect a wait for hot water if you are first in. A lovely breakfast cooked to order and our first interaction with staff which was nice. A great location for the beach, castle and town centre, parking pot luck on the surrounding streets. All in all, a little gem."

"A good stay and possibly the best breakfast ever plenty of choice and the cooked breakfast was piping hot on the negative side we booked this hotel as it advertised parking which it has but they didn’t say is it’s limited parking for possibly 6 maybe 7 cars only and on a first come basis "

"I wish I spent more time looking at places to stay. I just ended up picking this place. There's no parking for the this place but there parking up the road at the church, the hotel is above the pub which I didn't relaise until I got I message with the details which by then it was to late to cancell without being charged. Entering the building it smelled very bad some musty dusty smell. The room and TV was ok passable. I tell you what is not passable is to be left with out heading all night. I rang the number on the door straight to voicemail, rang the property via hotel.com telephone number not recognised. Messsaged via hotel.com and no response. The pub didn't open until 9pm and close till 3 am I wasn't going to traipse around looking for a staff to get told to contact hotel.com. "
