"Lovely little hotel in Tremadog. Rooms were a good size but the shower in one room had a small opening for plus size person my friends got moved to a different room as soon as the hotel were told about it which was good . Would go again for sure."

"Plenty of room for parking, breakfast was fantastic. Pauline was a lovely lady and very helpfull. We had a free standing mirror on a shelf in the bathroom which was quite heavy. I think it should be secured better as could be easily disturbed by a young child which could be quite dangerous. Would definitely go back again."

"I received a warm welcome from this family run business on arrival, parking was ample and just outside the entrance to this lovely, rural hotel. I was travelling for work purposes, so only stayed at Cadwgan for one night. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, the furniture was bright and modern, the ensuite bathroom equally clean and the bed large and very comfortable. A very peaceful location with views of the sea and cattle in the field opposite. I had a great night's sleep and enjoyed a light breakfast the next morning. As a solo female traveller, I would highly recommend a stay here, I felt safe and well looked after. Thank you."

"Mesmirising views !! Location great handy for shopping and places to eat. Thanks Michelle for your immediate attention and any advice needed, professional and really friendly. Washer and dryer would've been a plus but laundrette really near. Spent 10 days from 7th Sept. Didn't want to leave! Allocated parking very cclose to accommodation. Would recommend "

Plas Glynllifon Mansion

"A remarkable building, but still very much a work in progress Plas Glynllifon is an extraordinary place to stay. The building is genuinely impressive, full of history and character, and staying there feels very different from a conventional hotel. The welcome was friendly, the room was comfortable and breakfast was good. The setting is also excellent for exploring this part of North Wales. It is important to be realistic, though: this is still very much a hotel in development. Some of the facilities and infrastructure are not yet at the standard you would expect from a fully established hotel. During my stay the Wi-Fi was unreliable, there were no TVs in the rooms, and some parts of the property were clearly still being brought back into use. None of that spoiled my stay, because I knew I was staying somewhere that is being restored and developed rather than at a finished luxury hotel. In some ways it was interesting to see the building at this stage. There is no restaurant or bar at present, although there are places nearby. I particularly enjoyed Ty’n Llan, which is roughly a 20-minute walk away and was excellent for an evening meal. The real attraction here is the building itself and its potential. If the owners continue improving the practical side of the hotel while preserving its character, Plas Glynllifon could become somewhere genuinely special. I would stay again, but I would recommend arriving with the expectation that you are visiting a fascinating historic"
