"Keely, (receptionist), was a marvelous breath of grease air. All smiles, helpful, and super great personality. Room was clean a sufficient for our stay. Was a bit warm at first but staff was able to provide a table top fan. Was absolutely brilliant. Drinks and dinner ($$) at the restaurant was great and affordable. Joshua, our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful with the menu items and drink options from the bar. Breakfast, (included with the cost), was vast buffet selection of traditional Scottish meats and such. Overall the Nethy Bridge hotel was a great stay with superb staff."

"This is the second year we have stayed at this property as a family of 9 adults, 1 child and 2 small dogs. There is lots of space, garden and facilities are excellent and the location is second to none. The property and furnishings are a little tired and dated but I am sure this is reflected in the price because it more than reasonable and to be fair why stay in when the Cairngorms are on your doorstep. Only thing we would change is the fact that there are only 2 x doubles the rest of the 3 bedrooms have singles in them - we say this only because we have more adults than children."

"We had a fantastic time in Forest Trail Lodge. It is perfectly located in the village of Nethy Bridge with an abundance of walks around the area. The house itself was ample room for us all and felt like a ‘home from home’. We found the app highly useful, both before and during our stay. There was a problem with the heating and hot water during our first night, however Audra was incredibly helpful and communicative about everything too. This was sorted very quickly and did not hinder a wonderful stay! Thank you!"

"Great for our group of 4 adults and 4 children. Garden was fab for an Easter egg hunt. Table tennis table was a hit. Nice big dining table for 8. Everything important was in good order. Was nice to have the log burner during a cold week."

"Lovely cottage in a fantastic location. We played golf every day at Abernethy GC, which was friendly and welcoming. The weather was fantastic and we enjoyed soaking up the sun in the garden and exploring Nethy Bridge. We loved it and hope to return."

"A well equipped house, with plenty of space for the whole family to relax. Bedrooms were very spacious and whole house was spotless. Having the large enclosed garden was super too. Great location for walks, hotel is just at the bottom of the road for food and drinks and close to more amenities in Grantown and Aviemore. "
