Barrog Cottage - sleeps 2 guests in 1 bedroom

Barrog is the most delightful cottage that is anything but what its external look suggests! Set in a quiet village location this pretty looking terraced house has been converted into what can only be described as a luxury hotel suite! The minute you walk into the enclosed front patio area you know that this is a little different to your average rental! There is an outside bar (not stocked) and a huge hot tub! The whole patio is well planted with lots of greenery and shrubs, the slate tiling adds a contemporary feel. As you walk through the door you will see what a fantastic property this is, beautifully modern and stylish, the whole of the downstairs is now the kitchen/sitting room with even a little dining table too! Upstairs there is a large, luxurious bedroom with a contemporary ensuite. This house is exceptionally well designed, with an eye not just on style but on practicality too with ample storage space and an open plan feel!
Llanfair Talhaiarn or Llanfair ‘TH' is a fine village near The Vale of Clwyd. Surrounded by woodland and scenic rolling countryside, you can see why this is such a desirable place to live. As you approach the village you will cross an old stone bridge which crosses the River Elwy, immediately the charm of the village becomes apparent. There is a little village shop which provides all the essentials and there are two pubs, The Swan Inn and The Black Lion, both great spots to enjoy a drink and nice meal.
