Independent in Aberdeen

"Although Aberdeen has a pop. of 28K, it is fairly easy and quick to get around. This place was perfect for our stay. Everything was in working order. "

"Hotel was clean with quiet room, great breakfast selection and friendly staff."

"Shower could use some updating. The pull out sofa bed had stains all over the mattress."

"The front staff had to be rang twice for check-in. We finally got to our room and discovered the heat was blasting and no way to turn the air conditioning on to cool it off. There is no phone in the room to call the front desk for help as the a/c unit was not working. We opened the window and discovered no screen so we had to stand watch while the window was open. The beds appeared clean and fairly comfortable. We found rust on the doorframe and a broken trim to the bathroom. The shower had good pressure and an ample supply of hot water. Overall, the experience was quite poor and we will never return."

"Room smelled like poop when we first went in the room. Was out the room until late, and room still smelled like poop when we got back. Too late to switch. Had put Vicks van or rub under my nose to mask the smell. Desk chair was peeling the leather off, pretty bad."

"Only there for an overnight stop but was satisfied with the accommodations. And they are pet friendly. "
