"The people at the University Plaza were great. Very pleasant and friendly. The room was not great. It's old and outdated. The bathtub was dirty and stained. It definitely needs to be replaced. There are no USB connections anywhere in the room. The carpet is worn and also in need of replacement. This used to be a great property and was one of the nicer places in Springfield at one time. Those days are in the past unless they upgrade and clean the place up a little."

"The property was so nice and well maintained and all up the staff were fantastic, even the maintenance staff that helped assist. We checked in the next day and the same front desk staff, i think Nathan, checked us in,l"

"Worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in. There was a lot of unsavory characters out front of the hotel and several homeless wandering around. Hotel was supposed to be non-smoking. Our hallway smelled like skunk weed. The beds were hard as rocks and we couldn’t sleep on them, ended up in the chairs. Breakfast was average at best - not a lot of selection. Staff never said hi, never offered assistance with anything - front desk clerk was coloring with colored pencils when we arrived and barely acknowledged we were there."

"The rooms AC barely works to keep up with the summer heat that’s coming in. The TV doesn’t connect to their WiFi and their WiFi doesn’t reach the second building. So no tv. No WiFi. To top it off, their only amenities offered are two small packets of conditioner and shampoo and a really small bar of hand wash/body wash. The only nice thing about the stay was how clean and polished the rooms are."

"First room was being slept in. Second room was smelly, phone was sticky and wasn't working. Sheets were dirty as was mattress cover. Night clerk was nice enough To bring us clean linen but only after calling an automated number twice before reaching the front desk on my cell phone. All this after being charged a $100 damage deposit"
