The only downside was the unexpected bill at the end of our stay, you are obliged to have have board however this does not cover the daily evening meal menu, we had to pay a rather large supplement which was a bit of a shock. "There are not enough stars to be able to sufficiently rate this spectacular hotel. It’s honestly a little piece of heaven. From the moment you check in to the moment you check out the staff at the resort are completely devoted to your every need. They truly go above and beyond. In fact other hotels should send their staff members to the recort to get trained on what good hospitality really looks like. You feel like a member of the family at the recort but in a luxurious setting. The room was spacious and well planned out. The food was an absolutely phenomenal. The wine list was extensive. The breakfasts were out of this world. The spa area was so very relaxing. My words don’t do this hotel justice. You just have to make the trek there to believe me. It is well worth the journey. "

"The hotel is very smart and, although has a lot of rooms, never felt especially busy. It’s a 25-35’ walk to town (uphill on the way back) but the two helpful shuttle buses mean the only challenge is getting home from dinner. The gym and spa area and gym are large and excellent. Most importantly, all the staff were fantastically friendly and fell over backwards to look after you."
