A Recommended Hotel
We found this hotel to be centrally placed, spacious, clean and with a very positive vibe! Upon arrival we found we had been upgraded (without asking) to a 2 bedroom apartment from the one bedroom one we had booked. This gave us lots of space to stretch out in and they are lovely apartments - like a home away from home. The hotel staff were very friendly and courteous and helped us out whenever we needed anything. The decor is unusual and interesting - converted from office space - which makes it a distinctive space.
Go in spring before it gets too hot!

Recommend if you want more room
We stayed here just one night before boarding The Ghan. The staff was very pleasant and our room was clean. There was a kitchen and living room area. However, it was on the first floor, on a side street, and when we opened the sliding glass door, the curtains made it difficult to enter. If you want a quiet place, where you’ll feel somewhat apart from others, you should particularly like this place. For two people, you may prefer a regular hotel, although, as reviews said, this would be a fine place to spread out for a family.

Franklin Central Delivers the Goods
Great service from the reception staff - extremely helpful. Apartment style accommodation complete with washing machine, soap powder and dryer! Good kitchen and dish washer. Cafe on ground floor handy for breakfasts and light meals. Very central - a short walk to all the main attractions, 5 minutes to the free tram and a 2 minute walk to the large Central Markets and wonderful foods. This was our first visit to Adelaide - we will return and will definitely being staying at Franklin Central again.
