Relaxing and quiet
We booked to stay at the Hilton at the last minute ... we both needed some time away to sit back and relax and some peace and quiet, the hotel filled the bill beautifully. Everything was perfect from beginning to end! When we arrived the check-in process was swift and we were delighted to find we had been upgraded ... an unexpected pleasure. Our room was spacious, the bed was home away from home ... super comfortable and the pillow menu just capped it all off. We chose to eat out of the hotel and the hotel were happy to recommend various restaurants in the immediate area. Our breakfast next morning was great ... it seemed that all diets were adequately catered for. The food was plentiful and fresh. On check-out we left our bags at the hotels so we could explore Adelaide a bit more before heading off home. It was a great weekend, relaxing, quiet and a break we both needed. We would both highly recommend the hotel, its location is fantastic, public transport is right on the doorstep ... making it easy to escape down to the beach quick and easy, shopping in the area is great and the facilities at the hotel are ideal if you just want to hibernate there! We will definately be heading back there again.

Most convenient in Adelaide
We love the location of the hotel except the parking. We are fortunate to have valet parking otherwise it would have been a problem. For those without a car, there is nothing better than Hilton. Convenient, comfortable and close to all attractions in Adelaide. Five Stars *****

Unexpected Heaven
My wife and I were having a brief three-day get-away holiday to Adelaide to visit our son, daughter-in-law and our two young grandsons. We dont often get time together on our own, nor are we accustomed to staying at 4+ star hotels like the Hilton. But we had gotten a good room deal and were looking forward to the break. Upon arrival we were told by a surprisingly apologetic bookin clerk that they would have to upgrade us to the exclusive executive 16th floor. Nearly choking with excitement I told the young girl, I hate it when that happens!, all the while nearly pinching myself at our good fortune, and wondering when some pin would burst this unfolding dream bubble. We went up to our room, and gasped at the westward view to Glenelg Beach 10km away, the city lights starting to come on beneath us. What can I say: valet parking, a pillow menu, the executive lounge, newspapers hanging on door knobs in the morning, concierges wanting to come in and turn down our bed, delicious breakfasts as part of the original deal, exercise room...on and on and on! This was a blessing from God!
Traveller's tip on shopping
Central Market is just next door, and the Hilton is a short 15-minute walk to Rundle Mall.
