The hotel is very modern, having been open for only a few months, so the rooms are well appointed, clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The location is not central but it was very convenient for the week-long event I attended at the Samsung Hall (15 minutes walk) and the city centre is just a few minutes away on the S-Bahn. A tram from the airport stops literally outside.
Although situated next to the dual carriageway and railway, soundproofing is excellent – my room was no more than 15 metres from the railway line and I honestly never heard a sound despite seeing trains passing frequently at high speed.
There is an Aldi supermarket 5 minutes walk away for all your day to day needs, especially useful given that some of the rooms have fridge and cooking facilities.
The hotel claims to have air conditioning but this is still a work in progress and currently there is just an element of cooling – a few degrees below the ambient temperature, which I guess would generally be fine but not quite up to the task when it was 35 degrees all week – my bad luck I guess being there during an unusually hot spell.
There was a minor issues with a drilling type noise a few mornings which nobody was able to explain, but it was not early so not a huge issue.
Overall an excellent stay.
