"We had a great long weekend with our dog at this property. It’s a great mix of old and new with all the modern comforts. We had a great time walking around the property. The creek through the property is stunning. Would definitely come back again."

"We had an enjoyable week at the lake house. The inside was neat, tidy & pretty well maintained considering the age of the property. The grassed area leading to the lake was a great area for cricket & soccer, and the family enjoyed fishing in the lake. We had 5 adults + 4 kids in the house and it was more than big enough. "Kids had a ball. Woke up of their own accord before 6am to feed the calves and baby lambs and collect the chickens eggs. Judith and Don were so nice. Great experience, can’t wait to do it again."

"The number lock on the gate was a nightmare to open at all times. It took us a minimum of 15 minutes each time to open. Hope this could be made easy. Other than that we would give 5 stars for everything else."

"We love animals and this place had plenty of it. Ducks, Alpacas, Chickens, Birds and most importantly the 2 dogs Jonathan and Patrick who jumped into bed with us a couple of times and even dropped by for breakfast with our dog."

"We had a very relaxing time. We loved the panoramic views from every room. The house was very clean and cosy, with 3 separate living areas. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset and the star gazing was amazing. It was certainly a nature indulging experience."

"I really enjoyed my stay in this beautiful spot, the cottage had all I could ask for, in a lovely garden and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It is a little further out of town, I enjoyed the walk but some might prefer to travel by car. I was there for parkrun after all, which was only another 1km up the road in the Botanic gardens, so I was perfectly placed 🙂"
